Day 1 Let’S Start In Chile - Calama Airport To San Pedro De Atacama

Let’S Start In Chile - Calama Airport To San Pedro De Atacama

We will pick you up from the airport, then we head southeast to the city of Calama which is at an altitude of 2,300 meters above sea level. We have 100 km. of the route passing the Domeyko mountain range at an altitude of 3.750 meters above sea level. Then we descend until we reach the Cordillera de la Sal.

Arrival at San Pedro de Atacama and accommodation at the hotel.

In the afternoon, we will depart in a westerly direction. We will make a first stop at the viewpoint Likan Antai where we will observe the Salar de Atacama basin and its Ayllus Oasis.

Then we will continue south through the Cordillera de Sal, we will visit different solid formations of salt and clay, salt mines, viewpoints and finally we will make a 30 to 40 minutes trekking until we arrive to a big dune and there we will wait for the sunset with a view to the Andes Mountains.

Finally, we return to the hotel approximately at 8:00 pm

Beautiful Rainbow Valley In Atacama – Float At Baltinache Lagoons

We head northwest through the Domeyko mountain range until we reach Hierbas Buenas, an area of rock art.

We will make a short trek of 30 minutes to arrive at the Arcoiris Valley, a small tectonic fault with different colors due to the oxidation of different minerals. We continue with a 30 to 40-minute hike and then return to San Pedro de Atacama by the same route.

In the afternoon we head southwest until we arrive at the Baltinache Lagoons where we can float due to the high where you can float due to the high concentration of salt.

Return to San Pedro de Atacama.

Day 3 We Are Going To Bolivia - Sol De Mañana Geysers

We Are Going To Bolivia - Sol De Mañana Geysers

Today we will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the border of Hito Cajon, change of vehicle, and entry to Bolivia. We will make a stop at Laguna Verde, located at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano,

then we will visit the Sol de Mañana Geysers, the hot springs of Polques where we can enjoy a bath.

We will continue to the Dali Desert and then we will go to the Laguna Colorada where we will observe numerous pink flamingos.

Accommodation: Lodge in the town of Huayllajara.

Day 4 Bolivian Salt Flats And Desert - In Our Way To Uyuni

Bolivian Salt Flats And Desert - In Our Way To Uyuni

On this day, we will pass through the small Salar de Chiguana and the Siloli Desert where we will find the famous Stone Tree and other eroded rocks. Arrival to the town of San Juan, on the edge of the Salar de Uyuni.

Day 5 Unique Salar De Uyuni

We will leave in the direction of the infinite white desert: the Salar de Uyuni. We will visit the Incahuasi Island where giant cactus live. We continue to the town of Colchani where salt is processed and visit the Train Cemetery. Transfer to the bus terminal in Uyuni and boarding of the night bus to La Paz.

Day 6 La Paz City Tour

La Paz City Tour

Arrival in La Paz, transfer to the hotel and breakfast. We will visit the different sectors of the city of La Paz, such as: Murillo Square, the Government Palace, the Legislative Palace, and the Metropolitan Cathedral. Then we will go up to the cable car, and enjoy a fantastic view of the city built between mountains. Afterward, we will walk through the traditional sector, where the popular Street of the Witches is located, an area where they sell amulets, objects, and plants that are used to fight evil spirits and to perform rituals of the Andean cosmovision rituals.

We will continue with a visit to the Valley of the Moon, a beautiful place located near the city of La Paz where erosion has managed, after many years, to form wonderful stone forms that give us the sensation of being in a real lunar landscape.

Finally, we will enjoy dinner while watching a live show.

Day 7 Great Time At Copacabana – Enjoy The View Of Titicaca Lake

Great Time At Copacabana – Enjoy The View Of Titicaca Lake

Today we will head to Copacabana. After lunch, we will hike for about 2.5 hours to Sampaya, a small Aymara village with ancient stone houses.

We will enjoy incredible views of Lake Titicaca and the Cordillera Real. Boarding of a boat to Isla del Sol.

Day 8 Visit Isla Del Sol – We Are Going To Peru

We will hike to visit the main archaeological remains of the island and the cultivation terraces.

After lunch we will have an ’aphtapi’, typical food of the region, we will return to Copacabana, then we will head towards the Peruvian border. Boarding of the transportation to Puno.

Day 9 Colorful Mountain Of Palccoyo - Arrive At Cusco

Today we continue with our route to the colorful mountain Palccoyo, half an hour’s walk to reach a beautiful viewpoint. Then we will make a stop in the village of Cusipata and arrival to Cusco.

Day 10 Magical Cusco City Tour

Magical Cusco City Tour

We will discover the secrets of Cusco by visiting the Inca temple Coricancha, the Plaza de Armas, and the San Pedro Market. In the afternoon we will visit Tambomachay, Puka Pukara, Q’enko, and Sacsayhuaman.

We finish with a visit to the planetarium where we can learn about Inca cosmology.

Day 11 Discover The Sacred Valley

On this day we leave for Pisac and its archaeological site, we will walk through the town’s market where we can admire Andean handicraft products.

We continue to Ollantaytambo, an ancient Inca fortress.

Day 12 Maras And Moray Tour

We will visit the site of Moray, formed by concentric circular terraces, an Inca agricultural laboratory. Later we will find ourselves at the foot of the salt mines of Maras, an impressive set of 300 pools located at the foot of a mountain.

Day 13 Wonder Of The World: Machu Picchu

Early in the morning, we leave for the legendary ruins of Machupicchu. During our visit, you will admire the extraordinary technical quality of the construction where the perfectly carved stones are stacked without any defect. After our visit, we return to Aguas Calientes for lunch.

Then we take the train to Ollantaytambo to return to Cusco by bus.

Overnight in Cusco.
