10 nights in twin-share canvas tents at campsites. This style of tour is limited participation, you will be asked to assist in pitching and striking down your own tent. There will be a camp assistant to complete all the other campsite chores.

  • Day 1 Day 1: Windhoek To Etosha National Park

      Day 1: Windhoek To Etosha National Park

      Travelling north from Windhoek, Namibias capital city, we reach the vast 20,000 sq km reserve that is Etosha National Park. The park is dominated by the central salt pan and there are camps at various waterholes.We set up camp at one of these waterholes - which is floodlit at night and will enable us see some of the nocturnal animals coming to drink

  • Day 2 Day 2: Etosha National Park

      Day 2: Etosha National Park

      This morning we are up early to enjoy a full day game driving in this magnificent park. Keep your eyes peeled for the resident wildlife around the watering holes and on the pan. Home to Lion, leopard, rhino, giraffe and numerous species of antelope and birds, this national park is one of the best places to view wildlife.In the late afternoon, we return to camp for a swim in the pools and enjoy an evening around the floodlit watering hole to view wildlife at its best.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Etosha National Park To Spitzkoppe

      Day 3: Etosha National Park To Spitzkoppe

      Game driving out of the park, we start heading south through Damaraland towards the giant boulder-like rock formations that make up Spitzkoppe.Our community-run camp is at the base of the mountain and provides us with a fantastic base to explore the rocks and take in the changing colours as the sun drops below the horizon.

      Onward towards the coast, we will feel the noticeably cooler ocean breezes coming off the cold South Atlantic.Our home for the next two nights is the town of Swakopmund with its quaint German style architecture. Swakopmund is also home to a wide variety of adventure activities.

      Today is a free day to enjoy some of the many activities on offer or to simply explore the small town and enjoy the cafe culture and galleries.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Swakopmund To Sossus On Foot Camp, Khomas Region

      Leaving the coast and Swakopmund behind, we continue south - crossing the Tropic of Capricorn en-route - to our camp for the night, situated on a farm with a picturesque backdrop of the desert and mountains.

      Entering the National Park this morning as the gates open, we start our day with a trek to the top of Dune 45. Two steps up, one step back! Its a strenuous trek, however one is greatly rewarded by some stunning vistas over the sandy desert.After a hearty breakfast we continue on a short shuttle ride to Deadvlei.Leaving the dunes behind, we venture on to explore the stunning rock formations of the Sesriem Canyon

      Day 8: Sesriem Area To Fish River Canyon

      Through the barren and rocky landscape dotted with iconic quiver trees, we reach the Fish River Canyon. Up to 500m deep and some 160km long, it is a wondrous sight and our crew will guide us along to some of the best viewpoints for the best photo opportunities.

  • Day 9 Day 9: Fish River Canyon To Orange River, Namibia

      Day 9: Fish River Canyon To Orange River, Namibia

      Its only a short journey on from the Fish River Canyon to our camp for the night on the banks of the Orange Gariep River. On arrival, we can take an optional canoe safari, or simply relax by the waters edge and enjoy the spectacular views.

  • Day 10 Day 10: Orange River To Cederberg Region

      Day 10: Orange River To Cederberg Region

      Crossing the border to South Africa, we travel south through Namaqualand and into the Western Cape Province. Should you be on this tour during spring, we will be lucky enough to see blankets of beautiful wildflowers near the road and as far as the eye can see!From our picturesque camp, we have the opportunity to sample some locally produced wines whilst overlooking beautiful vineyards.

  • Day 11 Day 11: Cederberg Region To Cape Town

      Day 11: Cederberg Region To Cape Town

      Our last day on the vehicle takes us through the main citrus farming area of South Africa. In the distance we see the iconic Table Mounting which later welcomes us into the vibrant and beautiful city of Cape Town where we end our tour.
