      Kibale National Park is Ugandaโ€™s home Chimpanzee Trekking Safaris an home to the largest population of this great ape in Africa. Kibale forest shelters about 1500 individuals of chimpanzees with a total number of 13 primate species recorded including; phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. Guided nature walks will lead you to these humble creatures in their natural habitat, enjoy watching them feed, play and their way of life in the forest. Be entertained by the interesting monkeys during the walk as you watch them jump from tree to tree playfully. 

      Day 1: Kibale national Park 

      Have early morning breakfast ready for a chimpanzee walk in to the jungles of Kibale Forest National Park, reputable of having the greatest variety and highest concentration of primates in East Africa. The half day search for chimpanzees and other primates including phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed and grey cheeked Mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and many small insects. The guide will provide detailed explanations on not only primates, but also on all the forestโ€™s fauna and flora, ensuring that your walk is informative, enjoyable and excellent for viewing bird life and primates in close quarters. Lunch break at the luxury facility of Kyaninga Lodge or Ndali Lodge

      Spend your afternoon on a visit to the Bigodi wetland sanctuary for a Bigodi walk, this swamp is known for its rich diversity of its bird life including the rare shoebill stock. 

      Drive back to Entebbe that evening
