      Explore Rovinj, which sits on a headland with houses huddled together beneath the imposing St Euphemia church, whose steeple dominates the scene. This afternoon, sail on to Pula. Pulaโ€™s remarkably preserved Arena, reminiscent of Romeโ€™s Colosseum, is the cityโ€™s highlight. Built in the first century AD, it once housed up to 23,000 spectators for gladiatorial battles. The Arena is the only remaining Roman amphitheatre in existence to have all four walls entirely preserved.
