      Day 1: Welcome To Whitehorse!

Vancouver - Whitehorse - Yukon. Head to the Air North check-in counter at Vancouver International Airportโ€™s Domestic Terminal for 7:00 a.m. A representative will assist with check-in. Make sure to have your passport ready. After check-in, proceed to the gate. The flight will then depart for Whitehorse. Relax and enjoy a selection of complimentary snacks onboard. Upon arrival in Whitehorse, a representative will greet us. We will then embark on a tour of Whitehorse city, with allocated time to explore this charming northern city. Next, we travel approximately 30 km from downtown Whitehorse to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve for a guided tour. There are excellent opportunities to view and photograph wildlife in their natural habitat, including Dall Sheep, Bighorn Sheep, Mountain Goats, Deer, Elk, Woodland Caribou, Wood Bison, Musk-Ox, and Moose, often from close up. Check in at our accommodation and receive our Arctic winter clothes to keep us snug. In the evening, we will be treated to a gourmet group dinner at the lodge. Later in the night or early morning, there will be an opportunity to view the Northern Lights. Please note: The Whitehorse tour may take place on Day 4, depending on the final flight schedule.

Witness an ice fishing demonstration as your guide lights the campfire to cook lunch in a picturesque setting. We then head back to the inn to relax after an activity-fuelled day, and enjoy a group gourmet dinner served family-style. Take advantage of the free time by using the hotelโ€™s amenities, which include an outdoor hot tub. The evening is to spend at leisure, with the opportunity to marvel at the Northern Lights right outside the lodge.

For tour-goers staying at the inn, spend the free day snowshoeing, using the fat bikes provided by the lodge, or simply unwind and take in the magnificent sights and atmosphere. A home cooked grouped dinner will be provided at the accommodation this evening. Donโ€™t miss our final opportunity to view the Northern Lights! Please note: Half-day sledding is available at the time of booking (additional cost) but there is very limited availability.
