  • Day 1 Day 1: Yerevan-Haghpat-Sanahin-Haghpat (Trekking 9Km, 4-5 Hours)

      Day 1: Yerevan-Haghpat-Sanahin-Haghpat (Trekking 9Km, 4-5 Hours)

      Your guide will warmly greet you early in the morning at your hotel to accompany you to the enchanting northern province of Lori. Its verdant landscapes, consisting of green meadows and canyons, will not leave you indifferent. Firstly, you will arrive at UNESCO Heritage Listed Haghpat Monastery, from where you will begin your trekking through the surrounding villages and woods, while discovering a route rich in monuments and sites of interest. You will stop at the sites of Kusanats Anapat, Zarniayr, Kayanapert, the Saint-Karapet church then to the Monastery of Sanahin one of the most gorgeous masterpieces of Armenian architecture also listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site. Later, the trekking route will bring you to the 7-storey tower and next, you will pass to our final discovery which is the bridge of Sanahin located below, on the significant river Debed. At the end of the day, you will be taken to the monastery of Odzun where a stunning monastery of the 5th century overlooks the magical valley of Debed. In the evening, you will head to the campsite to spend a night under the tents, in Haghpat.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Yerevan-Garni-Havuts Tar-Geghard-Garni (Hiking 11Km, 4-5 Hours)

      You will leave Haghpat very early in the morning to drive towards the village of Garni, where the pagan temple will appear in front of you: a formidable structure dominating the valley of Azat. Then, you will begin your trekking to the Monastic complex of Havuts Tar by crossing the Khosrov reserve, a former royal reserve of Armenia and home to many endemic animal species including the famous Armenian leopards, bears, mouflons, gozoars goats or even many species of birds. Coming up, you will be taken to the monastery of Geghard, a UNESCO World Heritage-listed masterpiece. In the evening, you will be comfortably settled in a guest house in Garni.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Yerevan-Amaghu-Noravank-Artabuynk-Tsakhats Kar-Smbataberd-Yeghegis (Hiking 12 Km, 6-7 Hours)

      Day 3: Yerevan-Amaghu-Noravank-Artabuynk-Tsakhats Kar-Smbataberd-Yeghegis (Hiking 12 Km, 6-7 Hours)

      The next day, you will be driven to the southern province of Vayots Dzor, with a stop at the sacred Monastery of Khor Virap, symbolic monument of Christian Armenia, overlooking Biblical Mount Ararat. Later, we will reach the Vayots Dzor region, where its rocky and dry landscape will be unfolded in front of you. Afterward, you will arrive at the village of Amaghu, from where you will start trekking to Noravank Monastery through the canyon which is reminiscent of the American West. After visiting the architectural gem of Noravank, you will be driven to the village of Artabuynk, where the second hike will begin. You will head to the Tsakhats Kar Monastery, hidden in the proud mountains and then you will descend to the fortress of Smbataberd, the treasure of Armenian Bagratuni Kingdom. Your day will be ended by going down to the village of Yeghegis and its medieval cemetery. In the evening, you will be comfortably transported to Yerevan.
