First of all, we get acquainted with the capital city of Armenia. Yerevan is already 2801 years old, even older than Rome. In the morning we head to Cascade Complex, which is also considered to be an open-air museum. The view of the city is complete from the top of the complex, from where you have the big picture of the pink city and savour the majestic Mt Ararat. Then morning walk in the centre of the city. Day 3: Geghard - Garni โ€“ Duduk Concert-Vernissage

You head to Geghard Monastery. Geghard is a 4th century monastic complex in the middle of the green nature. The monastery is divine by its architecture, position and majesty. The mountains around and the green forest make you feel completely in another world. Next, take the way to Garni, a huge village in Kotayk province, where Armenians have been living since the 3rd millennium BC. There you will visit one of the most incredible pieces of architecture. The temple dates back to the 1st century AD presenting the Hellenistic style. The only pagan temple existing in Armenia is devoted to the god of Sun, Mihr. On the right side of the temple, you will see the bases of a church which was going to be built after adopting Christianity, but the temple remained and the construction of the church was stopped. The amazing gorge is under the cliff where the temple stands. The guarding mountains are just astounding. Right here at the Temple of Garni, you will enjoy Duduk Concert (an Armenian musical instrument famous throughout the world). After the concert, you will head to Yerevan and visit an open market of Armenian traditional items. Vernissage is a place where the souvenirs, jewellery, handicrafts, accessories of national clothing and much more than expected can be found.
