  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival/City Tour

      Day 1: Arrival/City Tour

      Arrival at Zvartnots International Airport. Transfer to the hotel. Check-in in the hotel. After some rest have a city tour in the capital of Armenia, Yerevan. Yerevan is one of the oldest cities in the world. For ages this city has been known as a โ€œpink cityโ€ because of the color of the stone it has been built with. You will have a city tour in Yerevan and you will see Republic square, Mashtots Avenue, the House of Opera and Ballet after Aram Khachatryan, the park โ€œCascadeโ€ and more. During the day you will visit the manuscript museum of Armenia, which is called Matenadaran: here all ancient Armenian Manuscripts are kept. You will also visit โ€œCafesjianโ€ center for the modern arts situated in the center of Yerevan in Cascade complex. After visiting Cascade you will head to the Brandy Facroty to try Armenian fine brandy. In the evening visit Armenian Genocide Museum and Memorial located on the hill Tsitsernakaberd. Get acquainted to the terrific facts of the history meanwhile enjoying the panoramic view of the city. 

      Overnight in Yerevan. 

  • Day 2 Day 2: Yerevan-Lake Sevan/Sevanavank-Dilijan (Old Town)-Tsakhkadzor-Yerevan

      Day 2: Yerevan-Lake Sevan/Sevanavank-Dilijan (Old Town)-Tsakhkadzor-Yerevan

      Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to lake Sevan, which is the largest lake in Caucasus as well as one of the largest and highest freshwater lakes of the world. The altitude of its surface is on 1897m above sea level.  You will get to Sevan Peninsula to visit Sevanavank monastery, built in the 9th century. Here you can visit also the ruins of the church built in 305 just after the acceptance of Christianity.

      After Sevan, continue the tour to Dilijan. You will have a city tour there and you can enjoy the beauty of the nature because Dilijan has a very beautiful location in between the forests. Dilijan is compared to Switzerland and is called โ€œArmenian Switzerlandโ€. It is a resort and spa town. Meantime Dilijan  is an ancient city with rich cultural and architectural heritage. Scroll down in the oldest streets of Dilijan and get connected with ancient Armenian culture and heritage. Drive to Tsaghkadzor. The city has been famous for years as a ski resort, as well as a SPA town and a health resort. The city name is translated from Armenian as โ€˜valley of flowersโ€™.  Tsaghkadzor is the second Armenian city after Yerevan to have the biggest number of hotels. Many luxury hotels and resorts were opened recently to serve the town during the summer and winter seasons. Tsaghkadzor is major sports center for the Republic of Armenia. The Olympic Sports Complex of Tsaghkadzor was opened in 1967. The ski resort of the town operating since 1986, is the centre of winter sports in Armenia. Return Yerevan.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan

      Day 3: Yerevan - Garni - Geghard - Yerevan

      Breakfast at the hotel. Drive to the remarkable Garni. You will walk along the canyon, by the beautiful columnar basalt 9th century stone bridge over the Azat River to Garni the Pagan Temple, built in the 1 Century AD. In 1679it was destroyed by earthquake. In the 1975 the Temple was restored. Geghard Monastery (the name comes from the legendary lance that was used to pierce the body of Christ, which was kept here for centuries. Though the exact foundation of the monastery is unknown, the present complex was built in the mid โ€“ 13th century.) Drive back to Yerevan.  

      Overnight in Yerevan.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Yerevan-Ejmiatsin-Zvartnots - Yerevan - (Shopping)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 4: Yerevan-Ejmiatsin-Zvartnots - Yerevan - (Shopping)

      Breakfast at the hotel. Excursion to the centuries-old monuments Echmiadzin and Zvartnots listed on UNESCO World Heritage list. Zvartnots (7-10th cc.) - a Temple of Vigil Forces. The Cathedral of Echmiadzin (303) is the official residence of Armenian Catholicos. Go back to Yerevan and have the rest of the day free for shopping and leisure.
