Itinerary of your trip 6-Day Namibia Desert And Etosha National Park (Lodging)

  • Day 1 Day 1: Windhoek - Sossusvlei (B,L&D)
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1: Windhoek - Sossusvlei (B,L&D)

      We will pick you up from your hotel or guest house between 7am and 8am and depart at 8:30am straight on the way south to world-famous Sossusvlei via picturesque Spreetshoogte Pass. We will then have a Stop-over at the view point to appreciate endless view of the Namib. Our lunch will be at Solitaire oasis. We will arrive at the lodge or campsite around 3-4 pm. This time is extremely hot; we recommend that you spend the day cooling off by the pool. Early rest is required as tomorrow you are expected to wake early in the morning.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Sossusvlei Area (B,L&D)

      Day 2: Sossusvlei Area (B,L&D)

       At sunrise, we will visit the Sesriem Gate to the remarkable Sossusvlei. We start off with climbing picturesque Dune 45, experiencing beauty and vastness of the orange-coloured landscape. Off-road drive to the Dead Vlei, a place of vast desert pan where dried-up, ancient acacias stand silent in the impressive, open-air gallery. If you have enough energy, you can climb one of the highest dunes on Earth, the โ€šBig Daddy โ€˜or โ€šBig Mama. After the morning excursion, we will return back to Sesriem for lunch. We will take a break for 1-2 hours. Once the heat subsides, we will take a short excursion to Sesriem Canyon. This will be our last activities for the day.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Sossusvlei To Windhoek (B&L)

      Day 3: Sossusvlei To Windhoek (B&L)

      After breakfast you will check-out and return to Windhoek traveling through the beautiful Spreetshoogte Pass. You will arrive back in Windhoek in the afternoon. You will be dropped-off at Discovery Guest House. This is the end of the first part of your tour. Dinner is at your own expense.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Windhoek - Etosha National Park (B,L&D)

      Day 4: Windhoek - Etosha National Park (B,L&D)

      After breakfast you will be picked up from the Discovery Guest House and head north. You will stop for a lovely lunch break in Otjiwarongo or Outjo. After lunch you will continue your drive hoping to reach Etosha National Park in the afternoon. A game drive in the afternoon in search of elephant, rhino, zebra, and various game animals like the oryx, kudu, wildebeest, impala, springbok, and gemsbok. After the game drive you willl be dropped off at your respective accommodation. A good nightโ€™s rest will be required so that you are able to wake-up early, refreshed and ready for your next adventure.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Etosha National Park (B,L&D)

      Day 5: Etosha National Park (B,L&D)

      You will rise early and soon after breakfast start your full-day game drive in Etosha National Park. The early morning hours provide time for magnificent exploration as you visit the waterholes. You will get to visit the Etosha pan (salt pan) before game driving across the park in search of the โ€œBig 5โ€ and other animal species. A light lunch will be provided and allow you some time rest, gathering energy for your next adventure. After lunch and some rest and relaxation you will visit the last waterhole that will be the last appreciation of Namibiaโ€™s beauty. Before sunset you will head back to the lodge for dinner where you can share stories of your experiences of the day and also share and compare beautiful photos. After a night of stories and photos, you will turn in for the night.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Etosha To Windhoek (B&L)

      Day 6: Etosha To Windhoek (B&L)

      Be prepared for the long, scenic transit back to Windhoek. We pass through towns and rural areas, stopping in the small town of Okahandja, the home of Namibiaโ€™s largest wood carving market. The stalls operate on a local co-operative basis and offer a vast array of truly Namibian souvenirs. We are due back in Windhoek not later than 16:00 hours. You will be dropped off at your accommodation.
