      After breakfast, we embark on our journey to Riga, the capital of Latvia. Our first stop takes us to the Hill of Crosses, a profoundly sacred place in Catholic Lithuania. Upon crossing into Latvia, weโ€™ll reach the splendid Rundale Palace, the former summer residence of the Duke of Courland. Following a guided palace tour, weโ€™ll journey through the picturesque rolling hills of Southern Latvia, arriving in Riga in the late afternoon for hotel check-in.

Our walking tour of the Old Town will include Riga Castle, the Dome Cathedral, St. Peterโ€™s Church, the Swedish Gate, the Three Brothers, the Large and Small Guilds, and the Freedom Monument. In the afternoon, thereโ€™s an optional visit to Jurmala, the vibrant Latvian seaside resort renowned for its wooden architecture and sandy beaches. In the afternoon, you can opt (with extra charge) for a visit to the Ethnographical Open Air Museum, an extensive showcase of 18th-century rural life.
