  • Day 1 Monday โ€“ Vigo
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Monday โ€“ Vigo

      On arrival, you will have time to settle down at the hotel and free time at your leisure. (We can recommend some visits and walks)

      In the afternoon, we will pick you up at your four star boutique hotel for a great โ€œarts and tapas tourโ€ of the Old Quarter in Vigo. We will visit some of our local artists and crafts shops to learn about our traditional and modern culture. We will end this great walking tour in a local โ€œtabernaโ€ and in a local market for a nice glass of wine and tapas.

  • Day 2 Tuesday โ€“ Cies Islands

      Tuesday โ€“ Cies Islands

      After breakfast, we get on board on a private sailing boat to visit our โ€œlittle paradiseโ€, Cies Islands, part of the Natural Park of Atlantic Islands. On arrival, we will have a guided trekking route to see the local flora and fauna in the island. We will also learn about the history of the island that has been visited by pirates and different cultures in the past. We will have lunch on board. We will then have time off to lay down at one of the best beaches in the world, according to โ€œThe Guardianโ€ newspaper. In the evening, we come back to Vigo and dinner at your leisure.

  • Day 3 Wednesday โ€“ Charming Portuguese Villages

      Wednesday โ€“ Charming Portuguese Villages

      After breakfast, we will pick you up at the hotel and drive across the border to Portugal. Our first stop is in Valenรงa do Minho, a beautiful village in the border with vibrant local market that is on every Wednesday. We will see all type of local products, from clothes, food, etcโ€ฆ.We will have a nice Portuguese coffee and โ€œtypical pasteis de nataโ€ in a local cafรฉ. After Valenรงa, we drive to another beautiful Portuguese village, Vilanova de Cerveira to stop for a nice walk before crossing the border to Spain again to visit a nice Albariรฑo winery and have wine tasting. After learning about Albariรฑo wine, we will have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, we will visit one of the most amazing places in South Galicia, not only for the breathtaking scenery but for the historical content, the Celtic ruins of Santa Tecla. We will learn about Galician ancient Celtic culture while we enjoy the amazing views. In the evening, back to Vigo and dinner at your leisure.

  • Day 4 Thursday โ€“ Santiago De Compostela

      Thursday โ€“ Santiago De Compostela

      After breakfast, we have our transfer to Santiago de Compostela. Today we will visit the famous city of Santiago de Compostela, the capital of Galicia. A place where every year millions of people and pilgrims come from all over the world, many of them after doing the โ€œCamino de Santiagoโ€. Its historical center has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will visit the Old Town, the Cathedral and the famous Market of Abastos. We will have lunch in local restaurant based on local products. In the evening, back to Vigo and dinner at your leisure.

  • Day 5 Friday โ€“ Albariรฑo Wine Region-O Salnes
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Friday โ€“ Albariรฑo Wine Region-O Salnes

      After breakfast, we get ready for a great experience day! On arrival to Salnes region, we get on board to have a great tour of โ€œArt of fishingโ€ by the hand of a local fisherman. We will learn about mussel farms, different extraction methods of bivalves (clams, cockles, etc.), different arts they use, how to differentiate the various species that are traded, everything related to the production, harvesting and selling of fish and seafood. Once in land, we put on cooking gloves and aprons for our traditional Galician cooking class at a beautiful place. From the hand of a local cook, we will learn how to cook โ€œempanadaโ€, Galician octopus and other traditional dishes of our cuisine and of course, we will eat lunch on the dishes we have made. After lunch, we will visit an Albariรฑo winery in a former Pazo, a Galician Manor House. We will walk among the vineyards and have a tasting to end the visit. In the evening, back to Vigo and dinner at your leisure.

  • Day 6 Saturday โ€“ Ribeira Sacra Wine Region

      After breakfast, we drive to one of the most beautiful places in Galicia, Ribeira Sacra wine region. On arrival, we do a small great trekking route to a beautiful โ€œmiradorโ€ to have a first look of the impressive Canyons of the River Sil from above. We will then have a wine tasting and lunch in one of the best wineries in the area followed by a special boat ride along the Canyons of the River Sil. We will learn about the difficulty of the harvest due to the steep of the land and about this magnificent red wine that has become very popular in the past five years.  โ€จIn the evening, back to Vigo and dinner at your leisure.

  • Day 7 Sunday โ€“ Ribeiro Wine Region
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Sunday โ€“ Ribeiro Wine Region

      After breakfast, we drive to the wine region of Ribeiro. Our first stop is in Ribadavia, a small town with a lot of history including the Jewish Quarter. We will do a nice walking tour around the town, visiting some of their oldest local shops, such as a Jewish bakery and local taverns. We will have the typical Galician octopus for a snack before heading to our next activity, a visit to a beautiful Ribeiro winery to taste some of the best Ribeiro wines in the area, followed by a nice lunch at the winery restaurant. After lunch and depending of the wheather conditions we will relax at one of the most hidden but beautiful thermal areas in Galicia, the โ€œTermas de Prexegueiroโ€. We can either have a therapeutic bath at the โ€œtermasโ€ or a nice jump in the cold water of the river Cerves. In the evening, back to Vigo and dinner at your leisure.
