      (Wednesday, Sunday) Individual arrival at Union Station, from where you begin your breathtaking journey on board the VIA Rail train "The Canadian". Departure 9:45 am (lunch, dinner).

      Day 2: Winnipeg

      (Thursday, Monday) North of the Great Lakes, the journey today takes you through the rugged landscape of the Canadian Shield, which is dotted with thousands of lakes, the so-called Muskoka Lakes. The train stops again and again, even in smaller places or makes so-called "whistle stops" in the middle of the wilderness. In the evening you reach Winnipeg, the capital of Manitoba. The station is adjacent to The Forks Park, which is also home to the Canadian Museum of Human Rights, which opened in 2015. Arrival 19:30, departure 21:30 (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

      (Friday, Tuesday) Today you travel through the vast prairies of Saskatchewan before crossing the border into Alberta in the late afternoon and finally reaching Edmonton. Albertaโ€™s capital is not only home to the West Edmonton Mall, the largest shopping mall in North America, but also offers a vibrant urban flair. Arrival 20:50 (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

      Day 4: Jasper

      (Saturday, Wednesday) At midnight (00:01), you will continue west from Edmonton to Jasper, gateway to the Rocky Mountains, which you will reach in the early morning! As the train journey continues, you will cross the border into British Columbia as you travel through the dramatic mountains of Western Canada. Arrival in Jasper 6:30 am, departure 9:30 am (breakfast, lunch, dinner).

  • Day 5 Day 5: Vancouver

      Day 5: Vancouver

      (Sunday, Thursday) Today you reach Vancouver, Canadaโ€™s pearl on the Pacific, where your journey ends with the VIA Rail train "The Canadian". Arrival 8 am (breakfast). Information about the train. On this train journey with The Canadian you can choose between couchette, cabin and Prestige Class. During the day you can sit comfortably with your fellow passengers in the Skyline Car or watch the passing scenery from the panoramic car with its large glass dome roof.
