The Alaska cruise terminal, Canada Place, has become a symbol of the city with its white roof in the shape of five sails. The Olympic Cauldron is also located there. Today is free to get to know Vancouver at your own pace.

We recommend adding the Victory Tour, available in the "extras" section:

Victoria, at the southernmost point of huge Vancouver Island, attracted its first British inhabitants just 150 years ago. Over time, Victoria has maintained its Old World charm with its red brick buildings. The center of Victoria is located in an inland bay, in the foreground are the famous Fairmont Empress Hotel, built by the Canadian Pacific railway company, and the Provincial Parliament building. The day begins with a comfortable 1.5-hour ferry ride that will take us to Vancouver Island. We will sail through an archipelago with small communities, country houses, and if we are lucky we will see gray whales, orcas and seals near our boat. Once on the island, our first visit will be to the beautiful Butchart Gardens. Welcome to Butchart Gardens, a wonderful 50-acre floral display, open to the public every day of the year and offering spectacular views. In 1904, Jennie Butchart began beautifying a depleted limestone quarry that had been left unused by her husband's pioneering efforts in cement manufacturing. The Butchart family's commitment to horticulture and hospitality spans more than a century, and each year continues to delight more than one million visitors from around the world. From the exquisite Sunken Garden to the enchanting Rose Garden, the pleasant traditions of the past continue to be maintained in one of the most wonderful corners of the world. We will continue towards the city center, where we will have free time to optionally visit the Royal British Columbia Museum (with its exhibits dedicated to the history of the province and indigenous communities), the Fairmont Empress Hotel, facing the bay , is the most photographed building in Victoria, and we must not forget the walk along Government Street with hundreds of original shops displaying their products of British origin. In the late afternoon, we return to Vancouver via ferry.

Today is free to get to know Vancouver at your own pace.

We recommend adding the Whistler Tour, available in the "extras" section:

The route from Vancouver to Whistler offers us one of the most beautiful views on the road, as we will skirt the entire coast of the famous Howe Sound fjord. We will pass Britannia Beach and half an hour later as we approach Squamish we will admire the Shannon Falls (333 meters high) and the largest granite monolith in Canada, the Stawamus Chief, better known as The Chief. As a frame to the landscape of Squamish, which means โ€œMother of the Windsโ€, we will find Garibaldi Mountain with its 2672 m high.

The small alpine village of Whistler has countless shops and restaurants that are a delight for the traveler looking for the right souvenir while admiring the mountain landscape. Free time to enjoy the villa. It is possible, as an option, to take a cable car to the top of Mount Whistler at 2,200 meters high. A landscape of glaciers and forests around us, while we have a coffee in the restaurant with a 360-degree view, is complemented by the Alta, Green and Lost lakes, each with a different color that owes to the different origins of its waters. . In the afternoon, during the summer months, visit Brandywine Falls and return to Vancouver.

Today is free to get to know Vancouver at your own pace.

We recommend adding the North Vancouver Tour, available in the "extras" section:

Crossing the famous Lions Gate Bridge we reach North Vancouver. At the first stop you can enjoy a unique experience when you cross the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the world, the Capilano Suspension Bridge. Within the park you will also find the Tree Tops suspended between the colossal trees and the walk parallel to the wall of the canyon, the Cliff Walk. The trees in the Capilano area, Douglas and Hemlock pines, as well as red cedars, are centuries-old and exceed 70 meters in height.

Who hasn't heard of Canadian salmon? In the Capilano River there is a salmon farm, where you can see a sample of the different varieties of salmon in the region and a detailed explanation of its curious trajectory.

Next we will take the cable car to the top of Grouse Mountain. Ski slopes in winter turn into green meadows in summer. From there, at 1000 m above sea level, you can admire the panoramic view of the city. At the top of the mountain you can visit the grizzly bear sanctuary. This is a project that the Government of Canada has initiated to achieve the integration of orphaned bears into the environment, without them representing a danger to the communities. At the Grouse Mountain Chalet you can enjoy several movies (depending on the schedule).

Vancouver is one of the safest Canadian cities, and it is said, one of the best destinations to enjoy the climate in Canada, as there is a milder climate than in the rest of the cities.
