Itinerary of your trip 2 Days Whistler & Squamish Tour From Vancouver

  • Day 1 Vancouver - Squamish - Shannon Falls - Brandywine Falls - Whistler
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

Vancouver - Squamish - Shannon Falls - Brandywine Falls - Whistler

      Stop 1: Vancouver

Your journey commences in the vibrant heart of Vancouver, a bustling metropolis that sets the stage for the snow-capped adventures that await. From here, youโ€™ll embark on a captivating expedition, tracing the path to explore the wintry wonders of the region.

Stop 2: Sea to Sky Highway

The Sea to Sky Highway is a gorgeous drive along the side of Howe Sound, an ocean fjord, and then up into the snowy mountains to the Whistler ski village. Along the way, youโ€™ll pass through the town of Squamish, one of the best small towns in Canada for outdoor adventures and home to world-class hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing

Stop 3: Sea to Sky Gondola

Ride the famous Sea to Sky Gondola to Habrich Ridge, where you can take in breathtaking views of the mountains, glacially carved fjords, coastal rainforest and the network of inlets in Howe Sound.

Stop 4: Shannon Falls Provincial Park and Waterfall

Now you will see and feel natureโ€™s power at Shannon Falls. Just a short trip down the Sea to Sky Highway, Shannon Falls is the 3rd highest waterfall in BC. Enjoy a short walk for some great photos of natureโ€™s erosive art and feel the mist of the falls against your skin.

      Stop 5: Squamish

Squamish is known for its natural beauty, outdoor recreation opportunities, and proximity to popular tourist destinations such as the Stawamus Chief, a granite dome that is popular among rock climbers.

      Stop 6: Brandywine Provincial Park

Brandywine Falls (the spectacular 70-metre waterfall) is best seen from the viewpoint which also presents some marvellous views of Daisy Lake and the surrounding mountains. This park provides opportunities for hiking, picnicking, mountain biking and viewing of the waterfall. The park was tripled in size in 2010 to include a unique habitat for red-legged frogs (a provincial โ€œblue listedโ€ species at risk). Several existing recreation trails were included in the expanded park as well.

Stop 7: Peak 2 Peak Gondola

Included in the tour is the Peak 2 Peak Gondola, which spans high between the peaks of Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, offering views of everything from the mountains to the lakes, to the Village nestled in between down below.

      Stop 8: Whistler

Whistler is North Americaโ€™s largest skiable area in a resort. World-renowned, it is ranked one of the best destinations by travel magazines year after year. Arriving, youโ€™ll find yourself in the charming streets, surrounded by tourists and locals alike. There is a whole slew of restaurants in the Village for you to choose from, and a large variety of activities.

Settle in for a leisurely night in a beautiful resort hotel.

      Whistler - Vancouver

      Stop 1: Whistler

Spend your second day enjoying anything Whistler has to offer. Hike, bike, ski, snowshoe, dogsled, do a tree-tops course, canoe the lakes, enjoy a Scandinavian Spa day, shop, enjoy brunch, or sightsee. Itโ€™s whatever you desire, and it depends on the season.

Just let your guide know what you would like to do, and leave the planning to us.

Meet at the hotel lobby later in the day for your return trip to Vancouver.

      Stop 2: Britannia Beach

In 1888, Dr. A.A. Forbes discovered copper in this small community located approximately 10 minutes south of Squamish. Known for its once-booming mine, the former mining town of Britannia Beach is now a charming village rich with art and history.

Stop 3: Porteau Cove Provincial Park

Situated on the most southerly fjord in North America, Porteau Cove Provincial Park features waterfront campsites with a view over Howe Sound to the mountains beyond. An old ship has been sunk to provide interest for scuba divers and to attract marine life. There are special facilities for divers. Adjacent train tracks are active and occasional noise disturbance may occur.

      Stop 4: Vancouver

Finally, return to the vibrant city of Vancouver, where you can reflect on your remarkable journey through British Columbiaโ€™s natural wonders.
