      Upon your arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, a representative from The Alpine Club of Himalaya will warmly welcome you and assist with your transfer to your accommodation. After checking in, youโ€™ll have the rest of the day free to explore this historic and vibrant city at your leisure.

      Day 2: Kathmandu City Tour

      Today, youโ€™ll explore the historic and vibrant city of Kathmandu, often referred to as the "City of Glory."


      Begin your day at Kathmandu Durbar Square, the heart of the cityโ€™s religious and cultural life. This area is rich with ancient temples and historical landmarks, showcasing magnificent old-world architecture. Key highlights include the Kal Bhairav statue, Hanuman Dhoka Palace, Taleju Temple, the ancient Kasthamandap, and Kumari Ghar, the residence of the Living Goddess.


      Next, visit the Swoyambhunath Stupa, one of the oldest and most revered Buddhist stupas in the world. Perched high on a hill, this sacred site offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Kathmandu Valley and the distant mountain ranges to the north.


      Continue your journey to the Pashupatinath Temple, a significant Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. This expansive temple complex is situated on the banks of the sacred Bagmati River. While only Hindus are permitted inside the templeโ€™s courtyard, visitors can observe the temple from the eastern side of the river.


      Conclude your sightseeing with a visit to Boudhanath, one of the largest Buddhist stupas in the world. This immense structure is adorned with four pairs of eyes, each facing a cardinal direction, symbolizing the Buddhaโ€™s watchful gaze over human righteousness and prosperity.

      Today, youโ€™ll explore other significant cities within the Kathmandu Valley. Begin your journey in Patan, the "City of Fine Arts." Here, youโ€™ll visit various landmarks, including the iconic Patan Durbar Square, the stunning Krishna Temple, and the Golden Temple (Hiranya Varna Mahavihar), among others. The city is renowned for its exquisite architecture, making it one of the valleyโ€™s finest treasures. Donโ€™t miss the Tibetan Handicraft Centre, where you can witness Tibetan refugees skillfully crafting carpets.


      Next, head to Bhaktapur, known as the "City of Devotees." Your tour in Bhaktapur starts with a visit to Durbar Square, followed by the Golden Gate and the Palace of 55 Windows, where youโ€™ll see the impressive Lionโ€™s Gate. Continue to the Nyatapola Temple, the tallest of its kind in Nepal, and explore the Bhairab Temple and the Pottery Centre. In the late afternoon, return to Kathmandu.

      Begin your journey with an early morning drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara, passing through scenic landscapes adorned with colorful hillside villages and the tranquil flow of the Trishuli and Marsyangdi rivers. After a hearty breakfast, the tour continues with a stop at Charaudi for an exhilarating three-hour white-water rafting adventure on the Trishuli River. Following the rafting, enjoy a well-deserved lunch before resuming the drive to Pokhara. Once you arrive in the picturesque "City of Lakes," take some time to explore the charming streets and vibrant lakeside area. Meals included: Breakfast and Lunch.

      Start your day in Pokhara by rising early and hiking up to the Sarangkot viewpoint. As dawn breaks, witness an ethereal lightshow as the sun rises over the Annapurna range, transforming its snowy peaks from white to gold. After breakfast, explore the dramatic Seti River Gorge, followed by a visit to Deviโ€™s Falls. Continue your adventure by exploring Gupteswar Cave and the mysterious Bat Cave. In the evening, unwind with a peaceful stroll around the serene Phewa Lake.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Pokhara - Kathmandu

      Day 6: Pokhara - Kathmandu

      Youโ€™ll begin your journey back to Kathmandu early in the morning, with a drive that takes approximately 6-7 hours. Upon arrival, youโ€™ll have the evening free to relax at your leisure. Enjoy an overnight stay at the hotel.
