  • Day 1 Arrival
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Arrival

      Upon arrival in Ulaanbaatar and transfer to a hotel. Optional full and half day tours are available. 

  • Day 2 Erdenet City
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Erdenet City

      Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and drive to Erdenet city, 370km from UB and it  will take about 6 hours. Erdenet is the second largest city in Mongolia and the capital of aimag(province) of Orkhon. Officially known as Bayan-Ondor soum. The city hosts the fourth largest copper mine in the world. Stay overnight in a local hotel (L/D).

  • Day 3 Khovsgol Province
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Khovsgol Province

      After breakfast, we drive and arrive in Murun, center of Khuvsgul province. Upon arrival, drive to the frozen lake Khuvsgul. Have dinner and spend the night in a Ger camp on the lake shore (B/L/D).

  • Day 4 Ice Festival/Ice Marathon
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Ice Festival/Ice Marathon

      After a relaxing breakfast, enjoy the opening ceremony of the Ice Festival. Watch traditional Mongolian folk music concert and a shamanic ritual. Today will mark the beginning of the first round of the Ice Marathon.  Ice skaters will participate in a 100km race. Guests will have plenty of opportunities for photography, horse riding on the frozen lake, and a visit to a nomadic family in the area. After dinner, a foreigner wearing the best Mongolian Deel will be elected and awarded with a medal and a certificate by the office of the province governor (B/L/D).

  • Day 5 Erdenet City
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Erdenet City

      Breakfast at the Ger camp and drive back to Erdenet city. Have a leisurely day and spend the night in a local hotel (B/L/D).

  • Day 6 Ulaanbaatar
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Ulaanbaatar

      After breakfast, we drive to Ulaanbaatar. Transfer to a hotel. Optional full and half day tours are available (B/L).

  • Day 7 Departure
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Departure

      Our guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in the morning and transfer to airport for the international departure (B).
