Good Morning! The first place we are visiting in Jeju island is Manjanggul Cave. Enter the mysterious underground castle, Manjanggul Cave ! It is regarded as one of the longest and finest lava tubes in the world. The creation of this tunnel was initiated by an eruption of a parasite volcano, as its magma dig its way from the land towards the ocean. Despite its age which is about 200,000 to 300,000 years, the excellent condition and a variety of stone structures make this cave high in scientific value.

Sangumburi is a flat crater with a circumference of over 2 km, 650 meters wide, and100 meters deep. If you look at the crater from above up, it looks like a man-made circular stadium. There is an incredible variety of plant-lives in the small crater that it attracts the attention of many researchers.

This beach is distinctively different from normal beaches thanks to a few special features. The first is its soft black sand formed from gradual weathering of basalt rocks. Whimsically enough, the water is still emerald clear by the dark sand. You will also walk on solidified lava rock structures covered in green moss. Smell the fresh sea air, touch the vibrant surroundings, and walk as far into the horizon.

Also referred as โSunrise Peakโ, this archetypal tuff-cone structure rose from the shallow sea by hydro-volcanic eruptions 5,000 years ago. Climbing to the top, you can find a grass-filled crater surrounded by numerous sharp rocks. This colossal footprint left by nature is a UNESCO World Heritage and also a habitat for 200 types of trees and wild animals.
Japanese empire dig holes on the walls of this lava structure, using them to hide military camps. Now they are used by Haenyeos as their diving platforms. Haenyeos are female divers who dive into the ocean water to gather various shellfish, seaweed, etc, without using any underwater diving equipment. Their unique way of life and culture were inscribed as UNESCO Intangible Heritage of the World. You can watch their performance nearby.

Located at the foot of Mt. Halla, Seongeup Folk Village is a small town that holds a vast amount of indigenous Jeju culture. Cultural properties in the folk village have been handed down for generations, and include treasures such as residential houses, Confucian shrines and schools, ancient government offices, and fortress ruins.
The residents still lead their lives in company of this uniquely Jeju environment. Their thatched houses are flanked with black lava rock walls, and the straight but curvy alleys block the strong wind. Stone grandfather statues have become a prime feature of the landscape, and the locals grow black-haired pigs. Their home-grown black pork is known to be very nutritious.

Yonggangsan is home to 288,000 trees and 333 indigenous plant species. Having been designated as a conservation area, the forest provides great opportunities to observe and learn about Jeju's diversified ecosystem through various facilities including an observatory, plant nurseries, walking trails, etc.

Grown out of long-term observation and meditation over art and life, Spirited Garden has been called one of the most beautiful garden in the world, attracting world celebrities and leaders. Mt. Sanbangsan is made up of a huge body of lava from violent volcanic activity 700,000 to 800,000 years ago. A rich variety of curious rock formations can be found on the walls of the lava cliffs.
As its name, meaning a room inside a mountain, suggests, the mountain contains a cave where one can capture a spectacular view out over the ocean. The upper slopes of the mountain have their own, special climate conditions.

Gamcheon Culture Village is consisted of houses built in staircase-fashion on the foothills of a coastal mountain, this village was originally made by war refugees for their settlement. In 2000's, the city government of Busan launched maintenance and revitalization project in the area, bringing vibrant murals and sculptures into the meandering alleys of this town. The success of the city projects earned this village the nickname "Machu Picchu of Busan."

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is situated on the coast of north-eastern Busan. While most temples in Korea are located in the mountains, this temple has found its charming location along the shore line.
The main sanctuary of the temple was reconstructed in 1970 with careful attention paid to the colors that were traditionally used in such structures. On the right-hand side, inside the a cave, is a uniquely designed Buddhist sanctum.
Other special sites at the temple are four lion statues, the 108 stairs, and stone lanterns lining the rocky landscape. Midway down the 108 steps one can pause and enjoy the calming sounds of the waves, and view the majestic sunrise.

Busan's Bupyeong Market is also known as Kkangtong (tin can) Market. It earned that funny name when it had a variety of imported canned goods from the United States for the US forces stationed in Korea during the Korean War. It was also known as "Dottegi (bustling plea) Market." All foreign products found in the country at that time were supplied from this market. Due to its vast property and many rare goods that were hard to find anywhere else during the time, it was also referred as "Gukje (International) Market." Nowadays, the market has reduced in size as many foreign products are freely imported, but the reputation and potential still remain. Some imported goods including liquor, clothes, ornaments, accessories, fashion items and electronic goods are still sold here.

Day 5: BUSAN - GYEONGJU UNESCO World Heritage Tour
Stop At: Seokguram, 999 Jinhyeon-dong, Gyeongju, Gyeongsangbuk-do 780-400 South Korea
Seokguram, located in Tohamsan Mountain, is the representative stone temple of Korea. This valuable grotto has been kept intact for over 1,200 years, thanks to its design that facilitates natural ventilation and humidity control. Cold spring water was designed to flow beneath the structure, settling down any moisture that formed in the grotto towards the floor.

Cheomseongdae is the oldest existing astronomical observatory in Asia. Constructed during the reign of Queen Seon-deok, it was used to observe stars in order to forecast the weather. This stone structure is a beautiful combination of straight lines and curves, built in a shape of a cylinder.

Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond were the secondary palace site which was used for the palace of the Crown Prince along with other subsidiary buildings. It was also a banquet site for important national event and important visitors.
After the fall of Silla, the site was abandoned and forgotten. The pond was referred to as "Anapji" by the later kingdoms, meaning a pond where the glory of the past is nowhere to be seen but wild geese and ducklings are found. Only in the 1980's, a pottery piece found in excavation revealed the original name of the place, "Wolji"(a pond that reflects the moon).

The locals know it as the โNapoli of Asiaโ, as many harbourside hotels, cafes and shops will attest. It is famed among Korea for its seafood, particularly oysters, and is a top holiday destination for Koreans.
You will ride Tongyeong Cable car & Skywalk - The panoramic view of Tongyeong as seen from the cable car is unlike any other! Departing for the peak of Mireuksan Mountain at 461 meters above sea level, the cable car is the longest in Korea, stretching a distance of 1,975 meters! The height makes for a thrilling experience while the length allows riders to fully take in the beautiful views from every angle. After arriving at the summit, step out on the skywalk if you are brave enough. The panorama includes all of downtown Tongyeong, as well as Geojedaegyo Bridge. The boats moving around the harbor resemble the many islands both large and small which dot the sea. From this vantage point, itโs easy to see why Tongyeong is called the โNapoli of Asia.โ

If the cable car is the best way to experience Tongyeong by air, Skyline Luge is perfect for the ground. Your heart will race as fast as your luge cart as you zoom down the curvy track! The carts are designed for safety and are very easy to use. After a short two-minute lesson, anyone and everyone will be able to operate the cart with ease. Skyline Luge Tongyeong is great for families, as people over 110 centimeters in height can ride by themselves, while children between 85-110 centimeters are allowed to ride with an adult. Take in the view from the Skyride, a special lift that will take you to the luge track starting point at 100 meters above sea level. At this point, you will attend a short lesson on cart usage. After picking your course between Dandy and Hera, itโs time to ride down. The track includes various thrilling sections, from curves to tunnels, all taken at high speed! After night falls, bright lights illuminate the tracks, making the ride more exciting.

Dongpirang Mural Villages are one of the biggest reasons why Tongyeong is the great cultural destination it is today. The two neighborhoods are set to the east and west of Tongyeong Jungang Market. Built on a steep slope and becoming an eyesore as it fell into disrepair, Dongpirang Village was slated to be bulldozed. The residents living here obviously rejected this idea, and with the help of volunteers, set about to transform their neighborhood with whimsical murals. It quickly became known as an attraction by word-of-mouth, and Seopirang soon followed suit.
The murals in Dongpirang Village were created by amateur artists, but this gives the village a friendly, approachable feeling. Itโs easy to see the love each artist had for the village through the styles and colors they chose

Yi Sun-sin Park is dedicated to Admiral Yi, who fought off the Japanese forces during the Imjin War (1592-1598). Even now, visitors can feel his protection by looking at the 17.3 meter-tall bronze statue of Admiral Yi gazing out to sea. The park is near Tongyeong Harbor, offering views of the port, fishery market, and Dongpirang Village. If youโd like to get away from the city, follow the parkโs boardwalk. The many sculptures along the way create great photo zones and the ocean breeze will blow your cares away.

Pick up from hotel and head to Suncheon Bay Garden ( 1h 40min.) Suncheonman Bay National Garden was created in 2013 as the venue for the International Garden Exposition Suncheon Bay Korea. The garden is the acme of gardening culture and business in Korea, and is the most visited Suncheon attraction among international visitors. The garden is vast, so itโs a good idea to select the sections you would like to visit beforehand. The most popular areas are Lake Garden, Dream Bridge, Sharing Forest, Dutch Garden, and Korean Traditional Garden. Be sure to stop by the gift shop near the West Gate for beautiful souvenir items, ranging from scarves and hats to dishes.

The highlight of Suncheon is rightly Suncheonman Bay Wetland Reserve. The bay is the perfect example of how nature and people can fit together beautifully and mutually beneficially. In addition to the walking paths, you can also learn about the local ecosystem at Suncheon Bay Eco-Museum. Bird watch in the day or view stars at the Observatory at night, and take in the perfectly curvy stream from Yongsan Observation Deck. Head to Boseong ( 1hour ) and visit to Boseong is the largest producer of green tea in the country, and the tea fields create beautiful landscapes that often appear in Korean dramas. At Boseong Green Tea Festival, some of the most popular festival events are the hands-on experience programs like picking tea leaves, making tea, and sampling green tea snacks. Other events include learning traditional tea ceremony culture and an exhibition of submitted photographs.
Daehan Dawon Tea Plantation produces high-quality green tea and is a popular tourist attraction year-round thanks to the vast rows of tea trees that line the hillside like a deep green carpet. Despite being a small peak at just 350 meters above sea level, the observation deck offers views of the sea on clear days. Daehan Dawon Tea Plantation has been featured as a filming site in dramas such as โSummer Scent (2002),โ โLegend of the Blue Sea (2017),โ and โThe Rebel (2017).โ

Visit to Yangnim-dong Penguin Village is an alley in the Yanglim Village. Of course, there is no penguin!!!(Korea is not that cold) . According to the travel guide book issed by Gwangju- city, people named this place as 'Penguin village' because the elderly who are uncomfortable with their knees walked like penguin. sad reason...
The village, which retains its shape in the 70s and 80s, is transformed into an exhibition space. The villagers recycled empty houses and abandoned objects that had been left in the fire in the past, and made artworks and displayed them on the walls of the neighborhood.

Yanglim History and Culure Village - Yanglim-dong village is a kind of 'museum' that shows us the culture and the history of the Japanese Imperial period in Gwangju. Western missionaries who had come to Gwangju during the Japanese colonial period established churches, western style schools, and hospitals in Yanglim-dong. These were totally different from the previous Korean traditional buildings, so people used to call Yanglin-dong as 'Western Villiage'. Still, several buildings are remained. Of course, most of buildings are built with western architectural style these days, so those buildings are not looked unusual now. However, they are still meaningful in terms of historical reason that those Yangmyeong-dong's old buildings are the first to be built with western culture in the modern era.

Stop At: 1913 Songjeong Station Market, Songjeong-ro 8beon-gil, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju South Korea
Songjeong Station Market was opened in 1913 in connection with the opening of Gwangju-Songjeong Station. For many years, the market was the go-to-place for necessary items and produce, but with the increase of large marts in the 1990s, people began to visit traditional markets less and less. In order to increase the liveliness of Songjeong Station Market and showcase the difference between large marts and a traditional market, the entire space was redesigned around the theme of time.
The newly redesigned 1913 Songjeong Station Market, located just across the street from Gwangju-Songjeong KTX Station, has a bright appearance with modern-styled architecture and signboards detailing the history of the various shops. Visitors can enjoy all the classic market foods here, such as hotteok (hot griddle cakes), gyeran bap (rice with egg), and eomuk (fisk cake).

Head to Damyang , it takes about 1hours from Gwangju, you will visit to The charm of Damyang Juknokwon can be felt from the moment you step foot into the lush forest. The cooling breeze that blows through the bamboo provides rest, relaxation, and mind-soothing meditation. The calm wind and deep shade keep the forest at 4 to 7 degrees Celsius cooler than the outside air and the forest has a high level of oxygen production. Take deep breaths while standing still within the forest and you will easily be able to feel this cool and refreshing environment.
Juknokwon is threaded with paths totaling a distance of 2.4 kilometers, enough for visitors to fully take in the dense forest. From the starting point at the observatory, the trail divides into eight paths with various themes, ranging from Loversโ Road to Old Memory Bypath. Visitors to the forest can also find statues of pandas throughout the forest, along with dynamic experiences and information.

This gorgeous path of metasequoia trees is another popular attraction of Damyang. Located a mere 5-minute drive from Juknokwon, the entire 8.5km of Metasequoia Road is lined with tall metasequoia trees reaching lofty heights of 10-20 meters. In summer, the long, slender leaves are a strong green hue, while fall sees the leaves becoming deep brown foliage that bends and sways in the autumn breeze. The road is included on the list of Koreaโs 100 Most Beautiful Roads and sees many visitors every year.

Day 9: GWANGJU - JEONJU - SEOUL
Stop At: Jeonju Hanok Village, Eunhaeng-ro, Wansan-gu, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do South Korea
Jeonju Hanok Village is located in the city of Jeonju and overlaps Pungnam-dong and Gyo-dong. There are 735 traditional Korean hanok houses. While the rest of city has been industrialized, Hanok Village retains its historical charms and traditions.
Jeonju Hanok Village is especially beautiful for its unique roof edges, which are slightly raised to the sky. Hanok houses are generally divided into two sections, Anchae and Sarangchae. Sarangchae is where the men dwell, and is referred to as the Seonbi room. Because men and women had to remain separate, Anchae is situated deep inside the house so that it is secretive and quiet.

pick up at 08:00 am from hotel in Seoul and head to Donggang River for 2h 40min. The Donggang River flows through the Gangwon-do district, and is a tributary of the Namhangang River. The Donggang River spans an area of 60 kilometers from Jeongseon to Yeongwol. The Donggang River is a well-preserved river, left untouched due to the strong current of the waters and the rugged geography of the mountains. The Donggang River follows a snaky path splitting the chiseled cliffs surrounding it. Many tourists visit the area to see rare animals such as otters, Mandarin ducks, and Chinese scops owls and so on. Donggang River is also famous for white-water rafting.
Yeongwolโs Donggang River is one of the top three rafting places in Korea, the other top three being Hantangang River and Naerincheon Stream. Each river has distinguished characteristics, Donggang River features breathtaking scenery comparable to Guilin in China.

Despite its age which is about 200,000 to 300,000 years, the excellent condition and a variety of stone structures make this cave high in scientific value.

Also referred as โSunrise Peakโ, this archetypal tuff-cone structure rose from the shallow sea by hydro-volcanic eruptions 5,000 years ago. Climbing to the top, you can find a grass-filled crater surrounded by numerous sharp rocks. This colossal footprint left by nature is a UNESCO World Heritage and also a habitat for 200 types of trees and wild animals.
Japanese empire dig holes on the walls of this lava structure, using them to hide military camps. Now they are used by Haenyeos as their diving platforms. Haenyeos are female divers who dive into the ocean water to gather various shellfish, seaweed, etc, without using any underwater diving equipment. Their unique way of life and culture were inscribed as UNESCO Intangible Heritage of the World. You can watch their performance nearby.

Located at the foot of Mt. Halla, Seongeup Folk Village is a small town that holds a vast amount of indigenous Jeju culture. The residents still lead their lives in company of this uniquely Jeju environment. Their thatched houses are flanked with black lava rock walls, and the straight but curvy alleys block the strong wind. Stone grandfather statues have become a prime feature of the landscape, and the locals grow black-haired pigs. Their home-grown black pork is known to be very nutritious.

Haedong Yonggungsa Temple is situated on the coast of north-eastern Busan. While most temples in Korea are located in the mountains, this temple has found its charming location along the shore line.
The main sanctuary of the temple was reconstructed in 1970 with careful attention paid to the colors that were traditionally used in such structures. On the right-hand side, inside the a cave, is a uniquely designed Buddhist sanctum.
Other special sites at the temple are four lion statues, the 108 stairs, and stone lanterns lining the rocky landscape. Midway down the 108 steps one can pause and enjoy the calming sounds of the waves, and view the majestic sunrise.

Gyeongju Donggung Palace and Wolji Pond were the secondary palace site which was used for the palace of the Crown Prince along with other subsidiary buildings. It was also a banquet site for important national event and important visitors.
After the fall of Silla, the site was abandoned and forgotten. The pond was referred to as "Anapji" by the later kingdoms, meaning a pond where the glory of the past is nowhere to be seen but wild geese and ducklings are found. Only in the 1980's, a pottery piece found in excavation revealed the original name of the place, "Wolji"(a pond that reflects the moon).

You will ride Tongyeong Cable car & Skywalk - The panoramic view of Tongyeong as seen from the cable car is unlike any other! Departing for the peak of Mireuksan Mountain at 461 meters above sea level, the cable car is the longest in Korea, stretching a distance of 1,975 meters! The height makes for a thrilling experience while the length allows riders to fully take in the beautiful views from every angle. After arriving at the summit, step out on the skywalk if you are brave enough. The panorama includes all of downtown Tongyeong, as well as Geojedaegyo Bridge. The boats moving around the harbor resemble the many islands both large and small which dot the sea. From this vantage point, itโs easy to see why Tongyeong is called the โNapoli of Asia.โ

If the cable car is the best way to experience Tongyeong by air, Skyline Luge is perfect for the ground. Your heart will race as fast as your luge cart as you zoom down the curvy track! The carts are designed for safety and are very easy to use. After a short two-minute lesson, anyone and everyone will be able to operate the cart with ease. Skyline Luge Tongyeong is great for families, as people over 110 centimeters in height can ride by themselves, while children between 85-110 centimeters are allowed to ride with an adult. Take in the view from the Skyride, a special lift that will take you to the luge track starting point at 100 meters above sea level. At this point, you will attend a short lesson on cart usage. After picking your course between Dandy and Hera, itโs time to ride down. The track includes various thrilling sections, from curves to tunnels, all taken at high speed! Dongpirang Mural Villages are one of the biggest reasons why Tongyeong is the great cultural destination it is today. The two neighborhoods are set to the east and west of Tongyeong Jungang Market. Built on a steep slope and becoming an eyesore as it fell into disrepair, Dongpirang Village was slated to be bulldozed. The residents living here obviously rejected this idea, and with the help of volunteers, set about to transform their neighborhood with whimsical murals. It quickly became known as an attraction by word-of-mouth, and Seopirang soon followed suit.
The murals in Dongpirang Village were created by amateur artists, but this gives the village a friendly, approachable feeling. Itโs easy to see the love each artist had for the village through the styles and colors they chose

Yi Sun-sin Park is dedicated to Admiral Yi, who fought off the Japanese forces during the Imjin War (1592-1598). Even now, visitors can feel his protection by looking at the 17.3 meter-tall bronze statue of Admiral Yi gazing out to sea. The park is near Tongyeong Harbor, offering views of the port, fishery market, and Dongpirang Village. If youโd like to get away from the city, follow the parkโs boardwalk. The many sculptures along the way create great photo zones and the ocean breeze will blow your cares away.

Pick up from hotel and head to Suncheon Bay Garden ( 1h 40min.) Suncheonman Bay National Garden was created in 2013 as the venue for the International Garden Exposition Suncheon Bay Korea. The garden is the acme of gardening culture and business in Korea, and is the most visited Suncheon attraction among international visitors. The garden is vast, so itโs a good idea to select the sections you would like to visit beforehand. The most popular areas are Lake Garden, Dream Bridge, Sharing Forest, Dutch Garden, and Korean Traditional Garden. Be sure to stop by the gift shop near the West Gate for beautiful souvenir items, ranging from scarves and hats to dishes.

Head to Boseong ( 1hour ) and visit to Boseong is the largest producer of green tea in the country, and the tea fields create beautiful landscapes that often appear in Korean dramas. At Boseong Green Tea Festival, some of the most popular festival events are the hands-on experience programs like picking tea leaves, making tea, and sampling green tea snacks. Other events include learning traditional tea ceremony culture and an exhibition of submitted photographs.
Daehan Dawon Tea Plantation produces high-quality green tea and is a popular tourist attraction year-round thanks to the vast rows of tea trees that line the hillside like a deep green carpet. Despite being a small peak at just 350 meters above sea level, the observation deck offers views of the sea on clear days. Daehan Dawon Tea Plantation has been featured as a filming site in dramas such as โSummer Scent (2002),โ โLegend of the Blue Sea (2017),โ and โThe Rebel (2017).โ

Visit to Yangnim-dong Penguin Village is an alley in the Yanglim Village. Of course, there is no penguin!!!(Korea is not that cold) . The village, which retains its shape in the 70s and 80s, is transformed into an exhibition space. The villagers recycled empty houses and abandoned objects that had been left in the fire in the past, and made artworks and displayed them on the walls of the neighborhood.

Yanglim History and Culure Village - Yanglim-dong village is a kind of 'museum' that shows us the culture and the history of the Japanese Imperial period in Gwangju. Western missionaries who had come to Gwangju during the Japanese colonial period established churches, western style schools, and hospitals in Yanglim-dong. These were totally different from the previous Korean traditional buildings, so people used to call Yanglin-dong as 'Western Villiage'. Still, several buildings are remained. Of course, most of buildings are built with western architectural style these days, so those buildings are not looked unusual now. However, they are still meaningful in terms of historical reason that those Yangmyeong-dong's old buildings are the first to be built with western culture in the modern era.

Songjeong Station Market was opened in 1913 in connection with the opening of Gwangju-Songjeong Station. For many years, the market was the go-to-place for necessary items and produce, but with the increase of large marts in the 1990s, people began to visit traditional markets less and less. In order to increase the liveliness of Songjeong Station Market and showcase the difference between large marts and a traditional market, the entire space was redesigned around the theme of time.
The newly redesigned 1913 Songjeong Station Market, located just across the street from Gwangju-Songjeong KTX Station, has a bright appearance with modern-styled architecture and signboards detailing the history of the various shops. Visitors can enjoy all the classic market foods here, such as hotteok (hot griddle cakes), gyeran bap (rice with egg), and eomuk (fisk cake).

Head to Damyang , it takes about 1hours from Gwangju, you will visit to The charm of Damyang Juknokwon can be felt from the moment you step foot into the lush forest. The cooling breeze that blows through the bamboo provides rest, relaxation, and mind-soothing meditation. The calm wind and deep shade keep the forest at 4 to 7 degrees Celsius cooler than the outside air and the forest has a high level of oxygen production. Take deep breaths while standing still within the forest and you will easily be able to feel this cool and refreshing environment.
Juknokwon is threaded with paths totaling a distance of 2.4 kilometers, enough for visitors to fully take in the dense forest. From the starting point at the observatory, the trail divides into eight paths with various themes, ranging from Loversโ Road to Old Memory Bypath. Visitors to the forest can also find statues of pandas throughout the forest, along with dynamic experiences and information.

This gorgeous path of metasequoia trees is another popular attraction of Damyang. Located a mere 5-minute drive from Juknokwon, the entire 8.5km of Metasequoia Road is lined with tall metasequoia trees reaching lofty heights of 10-20 meters. In summer, the long, slender leaves are a strong green hue, while fall sees the leaves becoming deep brown foliage that bends and sways in the autumn breeze. The road is included on the list of Koreaโs 100 Most Beautiful Roads and sees many visitors every year.

Jeonju Hanok Village is located in the city of Jeonju and overlaps Pungnam-dong and Gyo-dong. There are 735 traditional Korean hanok houses. While the rest of city has been industrialized, Hanok Village retains its historical charms and traditions.
Jeonju Hanok Village is especially beautiful for its unique roof edges, which are slightly raised to the sky. Hanok houses are generally divided into two sections, Anchae and Sarangchae. Sarangchae is where the men dwell, and is referred to as the Seonbi room. Because men and women had to remain separate, Anchae is situated deep inside the house so that it is secretive and quiet.

Jeonju Nambu Traditional Market opened as a regular public market in 1905 at the site of the Joseon-era Nammunbakk Market, located just outside the Southern gate to the city. Currently the market is comprised of about 800 stores with 1,200 workers selling vegetables, fruits, food, dried fish, furniture, silk goods, and general goods.
The market was revitalized with the creation of the Youth Market, located on the previously empty shops on the second floor of 6-dong. In influx of young shopkeepers and entrepreneurs has given the marketplace an exciting vibe like that found in Hongdae or Samcheong-dong.

Day 11: SEOUL - Rafting and ATV Quad Bike tour on Donggang River

pick up at 08:00 am from hotel in Seoul and head to Donggang River for 2h 40min. The Donggang River flows through the Gangwon-do district, and is a tributary of the Namhangang River. The Donggang River spans an area of 60 kilometers from Jeongseon to Yeongwol. The Donggang River is a well-preserved river, left untouched due to the strong current of the waters and the rugged geography of the mountains. The Donggang River follows a snaky path splitting the chiseled cliffs surrounding it. Many tourists visit the area to see rare animals such as otters, Mandarin ducks, and Chinese scops owls and so on. Donggang River is also famous for white-water rafting.
Yeongwolโs Donggang River is one of the top three rafting places in Korea, the other top three being Hantangang River and Naerincheon Stream. Each river has distinguished characteristics, Donggang River features breathtaking scenery comparable to Guilin in China.

the river has numerous rafting courses that flow with an abundance of water and wind past scene after beautiful scene. Courses generally have steep cliffs on one side of the river and banks of pebbles or sand on the other.

As Donggangโs representative course, the course is said to take rafters over the entirety of Donggang River. The course is so picturesque that many people forget to paddle and just float along and enjoy the scenery.

Day 14: SEOUL Highlight Tour with Drinking Tea at traditional Korean Tea House at Insadong

Situated at the top of Gwanghwamun Square, the presence of Gyeongbukgung palace gleams brightly in the central spine of the nation. As the first and largest palace built by Joseon Dynasty in 1395, this grand villa consisted of 330 buildings and had up to 3,000 staffs.
Before entering to explore the palace, we will watch the changing ceremony of royal guards. This enactment is an excellent opportunity to experience a rare tradition, performed exactly as it used to be held. Guards appear wearing royal uniforms, carrying traditional weapons and playing traditional instruments.

The highlight of this market is, however, discovering the animated street food stalls! We will go sampling some of the best Korean street foods here. The specialties in this market are octopus tartar and mung-bean pancakes. You will also be introduced to eccentric Korean foods such as steamed pork feet, blood sausage, and spicy chicken feet.
