Day 1: Capital city sightseeing and food tasting tour

Stop At: Katutura, Windhoek, Namibia
Taste the most famous street food (mainly meat) in Namibia called Kapana situated in the downtown area of Windhoek.
Duration: 1 hour

Stop At: Goreangab Dam, Namibia
Have a picnic with the local food and beer bought at the street market while viewing the lake at this hangout spot fitted with barbecue and sitting areas.

Stop At: Avani Windhoek Hotel Casino, 129 Independence Ave Gustav Voigts Centre, Windhoek 9000 Namibia
Lunch will be held at Avani Hotel which has a beautiful view of the city

Stop At: Independence Memorial Museum, Robert Mugabe Ave, Windhoek Namibia
We will then have a walk around the city centre at tourist attraction, which include visiting the museum.

Day 2: Road trip and sightseeing stops from the capital city to the Namibian desert

Pass By: Namib-Naukluft Park, Namib-Naukluft Park
Access to the Sossusvlei area of the Namib-Naukluft National Park is from the Sesriem gate, which is located in the surroundings of the eponymous canyon. From Sesriem, a 60 km tarmac road leads to Sossusvlei proper.

Stop At: Elim Dunes, Namib-Naukluft Park Namibia
See the Elim Dune which is a high and relatively isolated dune located 5 km past the Sesriem gate, on a branch of the main road connecting Sesriem to Sossusvlei. The dune takes its name from a farm that used to be in the area before the National Park was established.

Stop At: Dune 45, 45 kilometers From the Park Entrance Gate, Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft Park Namibia
See Dune 45. It is called this because it lies 45 km past Sesriem on the road to Sossusvlei. It is 80 meters high and it is composed of 5-million-year-old sands.

We finally enter Sossusvlei, our area of stay, which which is a salt and clay pan surrounded by high red dunes, located in the southern part of the Namib Desert, in the Namib Naukluft National Park of Namibia. Within this area is where we will do all of our hiking activities the next day after resting. So to end the long drive, we will enjoy the sunset with some food and drinks at the lodge.

Day 3: Dune climbing and sightseeing day

Stop At: Big Daddy Dune, Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft Park Namibia
Hike up Big Daddy which is the highest dune in the Sossusvlei area, at about 325 meters. Big Daddy is located past Sossusvlei proper, near Deadvlei. It faces another very high dune known as "Big Mama".

Stop At: Deadvlei, Sossusvlei, Namib-Naukluft Park Namibia
See Deadvlei, another clay pan, about 2 km from Sossusvlei. A notable feature of Deadvlei is that it used to be an oasis with several acacia trees; afterwards, the river that watered the oasis changed its course. The naturally created sight has therefore been used as a setting for films and videos.

Bring out the camping chairs and icebox as it's time to choose a high hill and watch the sunset!

Day 4: Road trip and sightseeing stops from the desert to the coast

Visit this diverse national park which encompasses part of the Namib Desert, the Naukluft mountain range, and the lagoon at Sandwich Harbour.

View some of the highest dunes in the world in this area!

Stop At: Walvis Bay Waterfront, End of Atlantic Street, Walvis Bay 9000 Namibia
We will end the hot day with a cool breeze by a restaurant situated at the beachfront, before ending the night in a guesthouse in the same area.

Day 5: Beach relaxation day with visit to Museum and Dune 7

Enjoy the Catamaran Charters which take you for a boat cruise along the atlantic ocean where you may see seals, dolphins, whales and more.
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Langstrand, Langstrand, Erongo Region
We'll have a sit down by the beach on the sand by the ocean, playing with the waves and taking in the fresh air.

Stop At: Swakopmund Camel Farm, Swakopmund Namibia
Ride camels!

Stop At: Swakopmund Museum, Strand Street, Swakopmund Namibia
Visit the museum displaying plants, minerals & cultural artifacts, plus a historical exhibit on ethnic groups.

Stop At: The Tug Restaurant, A.Schad Promenade, Molen Road, Jetty Area, Swakopmund, Namibia
We'll grab late lunch at the famous beachfront restaurant area awaiting the sunset and just relaxing all day. From here onward the travellers are free to choose what they would like to do whether it is to go out to the pub or order takeout in the guesthouse and catch up with international phone calls back home.

Day 8: Final Day Return Drive to Windhoek

Country Club Resort and Casino is where we will spend our last night back in the capital city of Windhoek. This place has a beautiful huge outdoor pool and a golfing area to start the next morning before we say bye to each other.. :)
