Day 1: Durban to Port Edward to Port St Johns (pick ups from 6:00am from from anywhere in Durban)
Stop At: Port Edward, Port Edward, KwaZulu-Natal
The small town of Port Edward is one of South Africa's true coastal gems. We could visit one of the famous beaches here - the Silver Beach and also tour this beautiful coastal town.

Stop At: Wild Coast, Wild Coast, Eastern Cape
Explore the Wild Coast as we continue with our tour from Port Edward to Port Saint Johns. This part of the tour offers many attractions such as the Silaka Nature Reserve and the Dwesa Nature Reserve.

Day 2: Port Saint Johns to Coffee Bay to Mazeppa Bay to Cintsa commencing after breakfast at around 8:00am
Stop At: Wild Coast, Wild Coast, Eastern Cape
We continue to explore the Wild Coast as we travel from Port Saint Johns to Coffee Bay and to Mazeppa Bay. We drive past some rural homes and past Umthatha. We also drive past Old Bunting and Ngqeleni.

Stop At: Hole in the Wall, Transkei, Coffee Bay South Africa
A hike that starts at the beautiful Coffee Bay beach and meanders along the coastline, passing Baby Hole and the Hlungwane Watefall. Your destination โ Hole in The Wall โ is a natural rock feature formed after millions of years of pounding sea. The lagoon here is lovely to swim in.

Day 3: Cintsa to East London to Port Elizabeth - Commencing our tour after breakfast at around 8:00am in the morning
Stop At: East London, East London, Eastern Cape
If youโre into art, culture and architecture, we will visit Fort Glamorgan which was erected on the banks of the Buffalo River in 1848 to guard the supply line to King Williams Town. We explore Xhosa culture and cuisine at Khaya la Bantu Cultural Village. The 19m tall Hood Point Lighthouse is also worth a visit.
East Londonโs biggest suburbs, Gonubie is home to a selection of magnificent beaches and nature trails.
From East London we head off to Port Elizabeth. On this day we really take a break in the afternoon. We head off to check into the hotel and you have all the rest of the afternoon to yourself and you enjoy yourself in some of the best beaches in Port Elizabeth.

Day 4: Port Elizabeth to Storms River to Tsitsikama National Park to Plettenberg Bay starting after breakfast at around 8:00am
Stop At: Storms River, Storms River, Tsitsikamma National Park, Eastern Cape
We drive through beautiful scenery of the Garden Route. Our next stop is at Storms River. We see the impressive Paul Sauer bridge across the valley towering some one hundred and thirty- nine metres above the river.

Stop At: Tsitsikamma National Park, Tsitsikamma National Park, Eastern Cape
Our next stop is at Tsitsikamma National Park. We make a stop over and enter the game drive in search of the big 5 and we are very likely to see any or most of the following โ elephant, buffalo, leopard, lion, zebra, rhino, giraffe, kudu, etcโฆ..

Day 5: Plettenberg Bay to Knysna to George starting off after breakfast at around 8:00am
Stop At: The Waterfront Knysna Quays, 21 Waterfront Drive, Knysna 6571 South Africa
On the edge of the Knysna Lagoon with its entrance to the sea are two promontories known as the โHeadsโ. The area also falls within a National Park proclaimed to conserve the extraordinary natural beauty of the Lakeland and adjacent indigenous forests. Knysna also offers shopping opportunities of unusual locally made art and craft, etc.

From Knaysna we continue westwards and you experience some of the most magical views on the Garden Route and Wilderness National Park and scenic viewpoints along the way.

Day 6: George to Mossel Bay to Hermanus leaving after breakfast at around 8:00am
Stop At: Mossel Bay, Mossel Bay, Western Cape
We continue to explore the Garden Route until we arrive at Mossel Bay, making some stops along the way to see many places of interest including ostrich farms along this route. Mossel Bay is a harbour town on the Garden Route in South Africaโs Western Cape Province. Itโs known for the wide Santos Beach and the 19th-century Cape St. Blaize Lighthouse, which offers bay views.

Stop At: Swellendam, Swellendam, Overberg District, Western Cape
We continue our tour driving towards Swellendam, one of the oldest towns in South Africa. Depending on time, there are many optional activities to be enjoyed in Swellendam including Two Feathers Horse Trails, The Drostdy Museum,Sulinaโs Faerie Sanctuary, and much more.

Stop At: Hermanus, Hermanus, Overstrand, Overberg District, Western Cape
We finally head off to Hermanus, the world capital of whale viewing where we spend the night.
In Hermanus, you can do a lot of optional activities such as canoeing at the Klenrivier; have fun at the Grotto Beach; Hermanus also has the most comprehensive collection of internationally acclaimed white and red South African wines in the largest wine shop in South Africa found in the Wine Village on the corner of the R43 and R320 en route to N2.

Day 7: Hermanus to Cape Town
Stop At: Hermanus, Hermanus, Overstrand, Overberg District, Western Cape
After breakfast, we continue to tour Hermanus further before departing for Cape Town at around 11:00am. We drive via the beautiful coastal route between Hermanus and Gordonโs Bay. We then take the R44 and driving on the edge of the sea past the beaches. Along this route you will encounter dramatic coastlines and beaches, fynbos biosphere, baboons, monkeys, birding and hiking. We will go past The Strand before we finally arrive in Cape Town in the late afternoon for drop offs at the Cape Town international Airport and at the hotels.
