Day 1: Beijing
Upon your arrival, your guide will meet you at Beijing Airport and then transfer you to the hotel. Relax during the rest of the day.
Day 2: Beijing (B+L)
Visit Tian'anmen Square and Forbidden City this morning. An a la carte lunch with Peking duck. In the afternoon, visit the Temple of Heaven. The evening will be highlighted by a lovely Chinese Kung Fu Show.
Day 3: Beijing (B)
Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. Round trip cable car is included. Lunch is on your own arrangement.ย You can take photo of theย Bird's Nest on the way to the urban area. The whole day's sightseeing will come to an end after visiting a local market.
Overnight Accommodations in Beijing: The Great Wallย Hotel (5 stars)
Day 4: Beijing - Xi'an (B+L)
Visit the Summer Palace and followย your guide to trace the old Beijing culture by walkingย through the original Hutong alleys. Chinese paper cutting experience is included.ย An a la carte lunch will be served at a fancy restaurant. Then take a flight to Xi'an and check in at the hotel.
Day 5: Xi'an (B+L+D)
Visit the Terracottaย Army Museum. After a special home cooked lunch at a local family, you will visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. A splendid evening is in store when you will be entertained by the Tang Dynasty Music and Dance Show when partaking of the famous dumpling dinner. (Tips: The show is available from Apr to Nov.)
Day 6: Xi'an (B+L)
Observe local life in the park, One-hour Tai Chi practice, Xi'an City Wall, A la carte lunch, Provincial History Museum, Great Mosque, Muslim Quarter.
Overnight Accommodations in Xi'an : Sheraton Hotel Xi'an (5-star)
Day 7: Xi'an - Chengdu (B)
You will be transferred to the North Railway station for a 4-hour high speed trainย to Chengdu. Your guide will meet you and help you check in at the hotel. Lunch is on your own. Free time in the afternoon.
Day 8: Chengdu (B)
Visit Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding in the morning. Then explore the Broad and Narrow Alleys of Chengdu.ย Lunch is arranged on your own. After that, visit Jinsha Site Museum and have some leisure time at Renmin Park.ย
Overnight Accommodations in Chengdu: Holiday Inn Chengdu Oriental Plaza (4-star)
Day 9: Departure from Chengdu (B)
Airport drop-off is not included today. Please check out of the hotel and catch your flight by yourself.
