Day 1: Addis Ababa Highlights

Stop At: National Museum of Ethiopia, King George VI Street, Addis Ababa Ethiopia
DAY 1:

Pick up from Bole International Airport and transfer to your hotel.

After breakfast in the hotel a full day city tour is awaiting you.

In the NATIONAL MUSEUM, one of the most important sub-Saharan museums of Africa, you

have the chance to meet ‘Lucy’ - your very famous ancestor.

The ETHNOLOGICAL MUSEUM, set within Haile Selassie's former palace shows superb artifacts

of Ethiopia - LAKE TANA - with it’s many is lands and monasteries needs to be discovered on a private boats tour - look out for hippopotamuses in the water! You will visit Ura Kidane Mehret and Kebran Gabriel The climate is almost Mediterranean.

Day 3: Gondar

Today you drive on a very scenic route From Bahir Dar to GONDAR (3 - 4 hours) - the old capital of the Ethiopian

Empire with great buildings from that time. During a half day tour to the immense 17th - century castle of Emperor Fasilides (World Heritage), the royal FASILIDES BATH (most important place

for the Ethiopian Timkat celebration) and the church of DEBRE BIRHAN SELASSIE you will

learn a lot about Ethiopian history.
