Day 3: The Rohtang Pass- A crucial link on the old trade route and still the gateway to trans Himalayan Lahaul, the Rohtang Pass is at height of 3978 m. Leave Manali in the afternoon lunch to go to Malana.

Take a trek through the beauty of the valley to reach Malana by night. Malana is connected to the Kullu valley by three mountain passes. It can be reached from Parbati Valley, Manikaran after a 10-hour trek over the 3180-meter high Rashol Pass, or via Nagar over the 3600-meter high beautiful Chanderkhani Pass, which is a two-day trek. The easiest and shortest way to reach Malana is from the village Jari connected to Kullu valley. It is an easy and picturesque walk of 3-4 hours to Malana, which is only 12 km from here. Beautiful waterfalls and the Malana nallah stream are an incentive.

Day 4: Soak in the beauty of Malana, which is absolutely one of the most beautiful and serene places on the Himalayas. Below the Chanderkhani Pass of the Kullu valley, lies a small constellation of houses constituting a village called Malana village. Its peerless culture extricates the village from the rest of the valley. It has an immaculate system of administration with a court guided by the spirit of the village God called Jamlu. Also called โ€œLittle Greeceโ€, this hamlet has a distinguishable architecture, language, worship rituals and an exceptional administrative system. The people are friendly but outsiders are advised to keep a distance and not to touch anything in the village. The exclusive geographical location has enabled it to preserve its biodiversity and is an ecological haven for trekkers.

Day 5: Enjoy the best hash (Malana Crรจme) in the world or else take a walk to stare at the mystic peaks of Himalayas away from all the rush of the city. Stay overnight in tents/ home stays.
