Itinerary

Day 1: Dali

Stop At: Chongsheng Three Pagodas, Under Yingle Peak, Dali 671000 China
Meet your guide at the South Gate of Dali Old Town at 9:00am. Explore Dali Old Town including the Foreigners’ Street, the Ancient City Wall of Dali and the Gate Tower. Then drive to visit Three Pagodas in Chongsheng Monastery.
Duration: 4 hours

Stop At: Erhai Lake, No.55 Zhongshan Road, Dali 661000 China
In the afternoon transfer to Xizhou Old Town. Walk around this old town to see the traditional architectures of Bai people. Taste local three-course tea in Xizhou. Afterwards, drive to Haishe Park to enjoy the beautiful scenery of the Erhai Lake. After that, drive to Zhoucheng Village and have a visit to a local Tie-dyeing workshop.

Day 2: Dali - Lijiang

Stop At: Old Town of Lijiang - China, No.57, Xuetang Rd, Dayan Township, Gucheng Dist, Lijiang 674100 China
In the morning, drive 3 hours to Lijiang. Upon arrival, visit Black Dragon Pool and Dongba Culture Museum. Then enjoy your free time in Lijiang Old Town.

At 5:00 pm, meet your guide again at Big Waterwheel spot (大水车) in Lijiang Old Town and transfer to hotel.

Day 3: Lijiang

Stop At: Baisha Frescoes, Baisha Country, Yulong County 674101 China
In the morning you will be driven to visit Baisha Old Town and Baisha Murals. Afterwards, drive to visit Yuhu Village and Former Residence of Joseph Rock. In the afternoon, you will be transferred to visit Shuhe Old Town.

Day 4: Lijiang –Tiger Leaping Gorge – Shangri-La

Stop At: Tiger Leaping Gorge (Hutiao Xia), 100 km NW of Lijiang Hutiaoxia Town, Shangri-La County 674402 China
In the morning, drive to Qiaotou Town. On the way, have a view of the First Bend of Yangtze River from afar and drive to the Upper Tiger Leaping Gorge and stop for 5 minutes for photograph.

Then go on driving to the Middle Tiger Leaping Gorge for hiking (about 3 hours). Hike from a place named “14km” to Tina’s Guesthouse.

Stop At: Dukezong Ancient Town, South East Of Shangri-La Old Town, Shangri-La County 674999 China
In the afternoon at about 3:30pm drive to Shangri-la. Upon arrival, stroll around Dukezong Ancient Town and walk up to the top of Guishan Hill to see the Grand Prayer Wheel and have a panoramic view of Shangri-La city.

Day 5: Shangri-La

Stop At: Songzanlin Scenic Area, Ni Wang Lu, Xianggelila Shi, Diqing Zangzuzizhizhou, Yunnan Sheng, China
Pick you up at the hotel and drive to visit Songzanlin Monastery. Then have a visit to a Tibetan village--Xiaojiezi Village and a local family around the monastery. In the afternoon you will be transferred to visit Napahai Lake.

This late afternoon drive back to Shangri-La downtown and drop you off at the Moonshine Square (in Chinese: 月光广场). Tour ends.
