Itinerary

Day 1: Arriving in Romania and pick up at Cluj airport

Pass By: Avram Iancu International Airport Cluj, Strada Traian Vuia 149-151, Cluj-Napoca 400397, Romania
Meal in the historic center Cluj (depending on time of arrival)

Day 2: Visiting Cluj Napoca

Stop At: Cluj-Napoca Romanian National Opera, City Center, Piața Ștefan cel Mare 2-4, Cluj-Napoca 400081, Romania
Visit the city center and park, and hidden little places where no tourist goes...
Duration: 8 hours

Day 3: Leaving for The donau tour, with stop and overnight in Brașov

Stop At: Brasov Historical Center, Piazza Sfatului, Brasov Romania
On route to Tulcea,with stop in Brașov. We will visit Brașov and get a tour through the city and spotting bears in the Carpathians
Duration: 12 hours

Day 4: Arriving in Tulcea, sailing for Sfantu Gheorghe!

Stop At: Tulcea, Tulcea, Tulcea County, Southeast Romania
We arrived in Tulcea, where we will stop to eat something. Then we will go to Murighiol, where we will take the boat to Sfânta Gheorghe.
Duration: 12 hours

Day 5: Visit Sfantu gheorghe and the beach

Stop At: Sfantu Gheorghe, Sfantu Gheorghe, Tulcea County, Southeast Romania
We will visit the unspoiled beach and with some luck, spot wild horses on the beach...
After we will take the boat and visit the Delta for the first time with a local sailor.

Day 6: Boat trip on the Delta and the black sea

We will be taking a boat tour on the sea and river delta, during lunch we will have traditional meals.

Day 7: Leaving the delta, on route to Parcul Natural Putna

We will be driving back to the base camp, with a stop and overnight in the amazing Putna national park

Day 8: Visit Sighișoara

Stop At: Sighisoara Historic Center, Piata Cetatii Nr.1 Center of Sighisoara, Sighisoara 545400 Romania
leaving the park and driving to Sighișoara, where we will spend the night

Day 9: driving back to the base camp via Biertan

Stop At: Biertan Fortified Church, Central Square, Biertan 557045 Romania
Visit Biertan and its fortified church, we drive back to the base camp.

Day 10: Rest day, if wanted visit waterpark, do some horse riding or visit Gherla

Stop At: Balnear Park Toroc, Strada Țibleșului, Dej 405200, Romania
Visit a waterparc, do horse riding...or just relax
Duration: 12 hours

Day 11: Turda Salt Mine and Geamana

Stop At: Salina Turda, Aleea Durgaului 7, Turda 401200 Romania
visit the amazing salt mine of Turda
Duration: 3 hours

Stop At: Geamana Flooded Village, Lupsa 517416 Romania
Once, Geamăna was a village in the Apuseni Mountains. Now is covered almost entirely by waste from the copper career from Rosia Poieni
Duration: 3 hours

Day 12: Apusene mountains

Stop At: Apuseni Natural Park, Localitatea Sudrigiu 136 Comuna Rieni, 417419 Romania
visit the Apuseni Mountains (part of the Western Carpathians, Sub piatra wooden church and waterfalls. (2-3 hours walk)
Duration: 8 hours

Stop At: Scarisoara Ice Cave, Garda de Sus Romania
We will explore and enjoy rural life in the Apuseni mountains and visit the ice cave of scărișoară.
Duration: 3 hours

Day 13: driving back to the base camp via Tarnița
