Montecatini Terme is a pleasant litte town in the heart of Tuscany close to Florence, Lucca and Pisa but also between Vinci (birthplace of great Leonardo), and Collodi (cradle of the fairytale of the famous puppet “Pinocchio”). In this area, known as Valdinievole, we wil rediscover enchanted landscapes, villages and castles that tell us of times gone by and real jewels of art.

In Montecatini Terme, charming spa town recently recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in the circuit of the Great Spas of Europe, you will have the opportunity to take a walk in the fabulous park (la “pineta”), to visit the Tettuccio (a fascinating spa building and garden where time seems to have stopped at the time of the belle epoque), to get some beauty or relax treatment or to shopping in the streets of the center and enjoy in one of the trendy clubs.

Breakfast in hotel and excursion 5 Terre. Enjoy a “stress-free” visit to the Cinque Terre with our assistant leading a small group. The real advantage of being part of a small group is just that, always have a tour-escort at your disposal, who will take care of you at all times. You’ll be a friend, not a number, and you’ll never walk alone. You will live a day full of unforgettable experiences while exploring one of the most enchanting landscapes in the world. Little villages, suspended between sea and land, completely surrounded by hills and vineyards. The visit begins with RIOMAGGIORE where you can have time to explore the delicious seaside town surrounding a small natural port; then MANAROLA, where you can admire the houses leaning one against the other and stroll along the narrow cobble alleyways and sheltered paths; later a local train will take us to MONTEROSSO AL MARE, where you will be overcome by white beaches with crystal-clear water and luxuriant vegetation that surrounds the little village. Here you will have a couple of hours to plunge into the crystal sea and have your lunch. The next stage will be Vernazza, and you can choose to get there by boat (a 10-minute trip with a small additional charge to be paid onsite) or continue the adventure with the Cinque Terre train for a few minutes. From Monterosso, your tour escort will lead you back to head to the nearby town of VERNAZZA, where you will have about 1 hour to visit the small and picturesque harbour, also called "the Pearl of the Cinque Terre", the characteristic view of the emerald water and colorful houses. You will be able to spend some time strolling through the ancient streets, purchasing any last-minute artisanal souvenirs. Please, remember that the tour-leader will never lose sight of you, and will always be there for you during this memorable day. In addition to comfortable clothes, we recommend to have with you a swimwear and a hat to protect you against the sun!!!

Your excited journey begins with a shuttle service from your accommodation in Montecatini Terme to the meeting point in Florence: at 7.15 a.m. you will find your driver waiting for you just outside your hotel of Montecatini Terme. In about an hour by drive you will be taken to Florence, where you will meet the guide and the fully fitted coach, which from 8.45 will lead you to discover Tuscany during this shared excursion. Explore the unspoiled beauty of Tuscany! Medieval towns, rolling hills, and fine wines will make your day unforgettable!

Through the enchanting hills of Chianti, the first stop is the fantastic medieval village of MONTERIGGIONI, with its walls still perfectly intact.
