  • Day 1 Day 1: Tirana - Berat

      Day 1: Tirana - Berat

      Individual arrival to Tirana. Youโ€™ll meet the tour guide at the airport and head straight to the charming city of Berat. On the way there, stop in the coastal town of Durres to see the Roman Amphitheatre here. After checking in at the hotel and taking a short break, you can go on a discovery tour. You will visit the fortress and Onufri Icon Museum.
      Berat is also known as the โ€œCity of a Thousand Windowsโ€ because of the many large windows that adorn the old town houses. The city is still known today for its historical architecture and special beauty and has therefore been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
  • Day 2 Day 2: Berat - St. Naum - Ohrid (North Macedonia)

      Day 2: Berat - St. Naum - Ohrid (North Macedonia)

      After breakfast, you will continue the city tour in Berat before crossing the border to Ohrid in Macedonia. The beautiful area around the Sveti Naum Monastery, near the Albanian border and 29 km south of Ohrid, offers you a particularly beautiful view along the way. After arriving in Ohrid, the rest of the day is at leisure.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Ohrid

      Day 3: Ohrid

      A city tour takes place after breakfast at the hotel. You can start on foot from St. Clement Square. You will then visit the church of St. Sophia, walk up to the Roman Theatre and then to Plaoshnik, the square where St. Clementโ€™s church was rebuilt. It is dedicated to the patron of Ohrid, Saint Clement, and St. Pantelejmon. In addition to the church, you can also see the foundations of an early Christian basilica, as well as the remains of an episcopal palace, which has a very well-preserved mosaic floor and swastikas found on the floors of earlier Christian baptismal places. The end is the church of St. Jovan Kanneo, which was built at the end of the 13th century and is one of the most photographed churches in the Balkans due to its unique cliffs directly above the lake.

      After breakfast and some free time in Ohrid, you will head to Skopje. On arrival, you will embark on a sightseeing tour of the capital of North Macedonia. Skopje is one of the oldest cities still in existence in the country. Of particular interest is the โ€œMacedonia Squareโ€ with its huge golden statue of Alexander the Great, surrounded by many historical figures, also represented in the form of statues of various sizes.

      After breakfast, today we cross the Kosovo border. The first stop will be in Prizren, a charming multicultural city. The cityโ€™s great cultural wealth is documented by 24 archaeological sites, 39 Christian cult buildings, 46 Islamic sacred buildings and more than 74 buildings of particularly popular architecture.
      Then continue to Decan, where you can visit the Serbian Orthodox monastery Visoki Decani, which dates back to the Middle Ages. On the journey to Peja, you can be impressed by a varied landscape. Once there, you can visit the Patriarch Monastery with its numerous frescoes and paintings, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

      After breakfast, leave Peja. There is a panoramic ride through the capital of Montenegro, Podgorica. The old town of Stari Varos is Podgoricaโ€™s oldest and most beautiful district. Its roots date back to the 15th century. Once in Budva, a guided walk through the old town awaits you. You will visit the Citadel of Budva, which is built at the highest point in the old town.

      Day 7: Budva - Cetinje - Njegusi - Kotor - Perast - Budva

      The road will take you through the stone sea today after breakfast to Cetinje, the old royal capital. If there is a place where Montenegroโ€™s spirit and tradition have been preserved, itโ€™s here. The curvy mountain roads continue to the village of Njegusi, which is located in the emerald plain deep in the rocky mountains of Lovcen. The cradle of the bishops and princes of the Petrovic dynasty. The village is also known for its typical Montenegrin specialities. The drive continues to Kotor. The almost 2,000 year old city is famous for its medieval old town, which is surrounded by an impressive 4.5 km long city wall. With its important cultural-historical buildings and location, Kotor was incorporated into the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site in 1979.
      Another highlight of your trip awaits you โ€” a visit to the picturesque village of Perast with its magnificent Baroque and Venetian architecture. You will be particularly fascinated by the subsequent trip to Gospa Skrpelja Island to see the impressive 17th-century baroque church โ€œOur Lady of Rocksโ€.
  • Day 8 Day 8: Budva - Shkodra - Kruja (Albania)

      Day 8: Budva - Shkodra - Kruja (Albania)

      After breakfast, you will drive back to Albania. During the trip, youโ€™ll stop at Sveti Stefan, the tranquil Adriatic island near Budva. The trip takes you to the cultural center of northern Albania to Shkodra. Shkodraโ€™s turbulent 2400-year history has left behind many interesting relics that are still worth a visit today.
      We continue to the village of Fishta, the birthplace of the most famous Albanian Franciscan, national revival poet and translator Gjergj Fishta. You will have lunch in the well-known organic restaurant โ€œMrizi i Zanaveโ€, which was named after one of Fishtaโ€™s masterpieces. Here you can find all the organic specialities of the Kallmet and Zadrime regions. Enjoy the โ€œKallmetโ€ from the โ€œArberiโ€ winery, a red wine aged in barriques. Then drive to Kruja, where you will spend the night.
  • Day 9 Day 9: Kruja - Day Trip Tirana

      Day 9: Kruja - Day Trip Tirana

      After breakfast at the hotel, visit Krujaโ€™s main actions such as the restored castle and citadel, the Skanderbeg Museum and the Ethnographic Museum. In addition to many souvenirs typical of Albania, there are also handmade rugs that are produced directly in the sales room. After that, you will head to the countryโ€™s capital to Tirana. The city, which was only named the countryโ€™s capital in 1920, is now the centre of the country. You can visit many attractions that can be reached on foot from the central renovated square โ€œSheshi Skanderbegโ€. The surrounding area of Tirana has been inhabited since age. The oldest finds in urban areas date back to Roman times. You will visit the National Historical Museum and the Etโ€™hem Beg Mosque.
