      Arrival at the airport in Tel Aviv. You will be greeted by our local representatives after exiting the customs and transferred to your hotel in Tel Aviv. The rest of your day is free for you to relax or start your exploration of the coastal city of Tel Aviv.

  • Day 2 Tel Aviv - Sea Of Galilee - Tiberias

      After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet your local guide and drive to the port city of Jaffa (Joppa) for a walking tour in the picturesque alleys of the old, fortified town. You will pass by the house of Simon the Tanner and marvel at the views from the hilltop. Continuation northward along the coastal road, via Maris, to the archaeological ruins of Caesarea, built by Herod the Great in honor of Augustus Caesar. From here, you will visit Megiddo where the book of Revelations mentions a great battle at the place called "Armageddon", an ancient city inhabited continuously for more than five millennia (6000 to 500 BC). After exploring the ancient ruins, you will drive toward the Sea of Galilee, stopping at Cana to visit the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his first miracle, turning water into wine. Arrival in Tiberias and check-in to your hotel. (Breakfast)

      Breakfast at the hotel. This morning you will visit the sites on the north shore of the Sea of Galilee, the stage for many of the events in Jesusโ€™ life. Driving along the shore of the sea to Capernaum โ€“ known as โ€œHis Townโ€, the center of Jesus ministry where he spent much time healing the sick and performing miracles - you will continue to Tabgha, the site of Christโ€™s miracle of feeding the 5,000, where you will visit the Church of Multiplication, where the mosaic floor depicts a basket with loaves and two fishes, and the Church of the Primacy of St Peter, commemorating Jesusโ€™ reinstatement of Peter as chief among the Apostles. 


      Continuation toward the Mount of Beatitudes, overlooking the sea, where Jesus preached the "Sermon on the Mount" and where it is believed that he picked his 12 apostles. On the Golan Heights, enjoy the panoramic view of Mt. Hermon and the rugged Golan plateau. In the afternoon, you will visit Banias (Caesarea Philippi), one of the sources of the River Jordan, where Jesus took his disciples, revealing his purpose and His Church before his last trip to Jerusalem and where Simon identified Jesus as the messiah. Finally you will drive to the southern part of the Sea of Galilee to visit the Yardenit Baptismal Site. Overnight in Tiberias. (Breakfast)

  • Day 4 Nazareth - Jordan Valley - Beit Alpha - Jerusalem

      Breakfast at your hotel. In the morning, enjoy some free time or opt for an amazing optional boat tour ($) on the Sea of Galilee. Then, you will travel through the Galilee region to Nazareth, where Jesus spent his childhood, and the Church of Annunciation, built on the site where archaeologists believe the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. You will also see Maryโ€™s Well and Josephโ€™s Church. You will visit the ancient synagogue at Beit Alpha, located at the foot of the northern slopes of the Gilboa Mountains which has one of the most preserved and beautiful mosaics in Israel. Driving through the Jordan Valley, you will pass by Jericho before reaching Jerusalem. Overnight in Jerusalem. (Breakfast)

      Breakfast at your hotel. Through the remarkable scenery of the Dead Sea, you will travel to Masada, which is located on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2001. Ascending to the fortress by cable car, you will see the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, King Herodโ€™s palace, the synagogue, the bathhouse and enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman camps and the Dead Sea below.


      Continuation to the site of the Qumran Caves where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Nearly 1,300 feet below sea level, the Dead Sea is the lowest point on Earthโ€™s surface. Bring your swimsuit as, if weather permits, it is possible to "float" on the salty, mineral-rich, water. Overnight in Jerusalem. (Breakfast)

      After breakfast at your hotel, you will visit the Israel Museumโ€™s Shrine of the Book with the famous Dead Sea Scrolls. Then, you will see the beautifully renovated model of the Herodian city of Jerusalem, dating back to the time of the Second Temple. Following your visit, you will drive toward Ein Karem, a picturesque village in the southwestern outskirts of Jerusalem, where according to Christian traditions John the Baptist was born. You will also visit Yad Vashem, the official memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, established in 1953, located at the foot of Mt. Hertzl. Finally, you will visit Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus at the Church of the Nativity and Manger Square. Overnight in Jerusalem. (Breakfast)

  • Day 7 Jerusalem

      Breakfast at your hotel. You will visit the Old City of Jerusalem where you will see the Western Wall and the actual site of the Second Temple, the Temple Mount. Walk the Way of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa, to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection. To the southwest, just outside the Old City, you will see Mount Zion with the traditional tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus spent his last night and was betrayed by Judas. Here, enjoy the spectacular view of Jerusalem - the holy city for each of the worldโ€™s three great religions, Christianity, Judaism, and Islam - from the Mount of Olives. Overnight in Jerusalem.   • Day 8 Jerusalem - Allenby Bridge - Amman (Jordan)

  • Day 9 Amman - Madaba - Mt. Nebo - Shobak Castle - Petra

      Breakfast at the hotel. Departure toward Madaba, a city famous for its mosaic map of Jerusalem and the Holy Land from the 6th century and for its spectacular Byzantine and Umayyad mosaics. Continuation to Mt. Nebo, a 810 metres (2,651 ft) high mountain mentioned in the Bible as the place where Moses was granted a view of the Promised Land that he would never enter. 


      You will then drive to Shoubak, where an impressive castle stands as a lonely reminder of former Crusader glory. Known to the crusaders as Montreal Castle, it was built in 1115 by King Baldwin I of Jerusalem and owned by the royal family for less than a century before falling to foreign invaders. Arrival in Petra in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight in Petra. (Breakfast-Dinner)

      After breakfast at the hotel, you will start your full-day tour of the legendary Nabatean city of Petra. Considered as one of the New Seven Wonders of the World, Petra has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985. You will enter the city through a 1-km long narrow gorge which is flanked on both sides by 80 metres (262 ft) high cliffs with dazzling colors and amazing rock formations. The site is massive and contains hundreds of elaborate rock-cut tombs, roman-style theatres, temples dedicated to gods and kings, sacrificial altars, colonnaded streets and of course the Al Khazneh or "The Treasury of Petra". In the afternoon, enjoy free time to explore Petra on your own. Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Petra. (Breakfast-Dinner)

  • Day 11 Petra - Little Petra - Wadi Rum - Amman

      Breakfast at the hotel. In the morning you will visit Little Petra, an archeological site included in Petraโ€™s inscription as a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for its ancient buildings sculpted out of solid red sandstone. A suburb of the city of Petra, Little Petra was the place where Nabateans used to entertain their guests. It was one of the main commercial areas of Petra, the entry and exit point for the trade routes to the north and north-west.


      Later you will explore Wadi Rum on a 2-hour jeep ride into the Jordanian desert! Wadi Rum was described by T.E. Lawrence, aka Lawrence of Arabia, as "vast, echoing and god-like", and is dubbed by the locals "valley of the Moon". You will then be transferred from Petra to your hotel in Amman. Dinner and overnight in Amman. (Breakfast-Dinner)

      Breakfast at the hotel and departure for a panoramic city tour of Amman to see the old and new parts of this beautiful city. You will then head northward to Jerash to explore this roman city with a local English-speaking guide. This 2-hour tour will take you back to the ancient time thanks to well-preserved paved and colonnaded streets, soaring hilltop temples, theatres, spacious public squares, plazas, baths, fountains from the 1st century A.D.

      Transfer to the Dead Sea area, one of the saltiest lakes in the world, in a beautiful 5* resort to relax and take a swim in the Dead Sea. This is a great opportunity to dive and float into this unique water. At the end of the afternoon you will be transferred to your hotel. Dinner and overnight in Amman. (Breakfast-Dinner)

      After breakfast at the hotel, you will discover the world-famous pyramids of Giza. On the Giza Plateau just outside of Cairo, you will be impressed by the Pyramid of Cheops, the largest of the three pyramids, the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and the only one to remain largely intact. With the head of a pharaoh and the body of a lion, the Sphinx of Giza is watching over the pyramids. Enjoy some free time to wander around this amazing site, take pictures and visit the interior chambers ($) of the Great Pyramid of Giza.


      Following lunch at a local restaurant, you will visit the Egyptian Museum of Cairo, home to the worldโ€™s largest collection of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Dinner and overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

      Breakfast transfer to the airport in Cairo for your flight to Luxor. Upon arrival in Luxor, transfer to the port to embark on your Nile cruise. Following lunch on board, you will visit the most spectacular temples located on the east bank of the Nile and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site: Luxor and Karnak. You will notice that the entrance at Luxor Temple is as impressive as the reign of its architect Ramses II. Karnak, whose construction lasted for almost 2000 years, is the largest and oldest religious complex in the world. Dinner and overnight on board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

  • Day 16 Luxor - Edfu

      Breakfast on board. Today, you will visit amazing archeological sites located on the west bank of the Nile. You will be awestruck by the Temple of Hatshepsut, dubbed the "Sublime of the Sublimes", built on three levels beneath the cliff at Deir El-Bahri. In the Valley of the Kings, you will visit the Temple of Ramses III the last great monarch of ancient Egypt who was able to save his country from collapsing at a time when other empires fell to invaders. On your way back to the ship, you will see the Colossi of Memnon which are two massive stone statues of the Pharaoh Amenhotep. Navigation toward Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.   • Day 17 Edfu - Kom Ombo - Aswan

      After breakfast on board, you will visit the temple dedicated to Horus which is one of the best-preserved ancient temples in Egypt. It was built between 237 and 57 BC. Lunch on board. In the afternoon you will sail toward Kom Ombo where you will visit the Temple of Sobek. Then you will navigate onward to Aswan. Dinner and overnight on board. (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)

      Optional excursion ($) to Abu Simbel:

      Early morning transfer from the ship in Aswan to Abu Simbel with breakfast included. Abu Simbel is located 280 km away. Upon arrival, you will visit the two temples built by the pharaoh Ramses II, often referred to as Ramses the Great. The 100-foot-high Great Temple is breathtaking with the 4 statues of Ramses II and his wife Queen Nefertari. You will have a two-hour guided exploration of this historic and sacred site before heading back to the ship for lunch.
