  • Day 1 Tbilisi City Tour

      Tbilisi City Tour

      Arrival at Tbilisi International Airport. Check in on the noon. Meet your guide and go through the streets of Tbilisi. Start with Metekhi church and the monument to Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Take a cable car to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breathtaking panoramic view of the city. Walk down to the district of Sulphur bath houses passing by the special mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Sharden area full of narrow streets with cozy cafรฉs, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops, and breathe in the living past. Visit Sioni Cathedral, Anchiskhati Basilica, and the clock tower of famous Rezo Gabriadze Theatre. 

      The cable car tickets are included.

  • Day 2 Tbilisi โ€“> Mtskheta -> Gori โ€“> Uplistsikhe โ€“> Kutaisi

      After breakfast at the hotel, depart Tbilisi and drive towards Gori. On the way, visit Jvari Church, a true architectural masterpiece of the early Medieval Period built on a hilltop. You will enjoy the views of the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. From Jvari we are going to visit Svetitskhoveli cathedral, one of the most famous and importan cathedrals in Georgia. Right here the robe of Jesus Christ is being kept.  Reach Gori and visit the Stalin Museum. The museum includes more than 60,000 artifacts, the tiny house where Stalin was born, and impressive bulletproof train Stalin used to travel to Yalta and Potsdam. Continue to Uplistsikhe and explore the cave town dating back to Hellenistic Period and notable for the unique combination of various styles of rock-cut cultures and the co-existence of pagan and Christian architecture. Drive to Kutaisi, the central city of Western Georgia once called "Aia". The road to Kutaisi will take you over Rikoti pass and through the longest tunnel of Georgia (1,722 m). The tunnel is also considered as a border between western and eastern parts of Georgia. Arrive in Kutaisi, have a small walk around town.

      In the morning drive to Martvili Canyon from Kutaisi. On the way to Martvili you will pass local villages with the eye-catching charming yards typical only to this area. Take a small boat trip inside the Canyon, see one of the natureโ€™s most wonderful creations โ€“ waterfall. After boat trip enter the gorgeโ€™s another side and stroll over the canyonโ€™s waters watching it changing its colors on every turn and stone. The best place for selfies. After Martvili Canyons drive to the Prometheus cave with numerous stalactites and stalagmites. Continue to Bagrati Cathedral (11th century), one of the best samples of late medieval architecture and is towering over Kutaisi and visible from almost any point of the city. Next stop is the Gelati Academy (12th century) built by King David the Builder. Gelati was the center of spiritual and scientific life of the Middle Ages, the tomb of Georgian kings, and a cult place for pilgrims. It is under UNESCO protection as an object of cultural and historical legacy.

      After breakfast head to one of the most exciting cities in Georgia - Batumi. Batumi is the real masterpiece of contemporary architecture. Full of inspirational narrow streets, fish market, botanical garden and many amusement activities like trips with a carriage around the city or swim in the sea by the ship. 

      On this day weโ€™ll have free time in Batumi and can manage any additional activity if required.

  • Day 5 Batumi -> Batumi Botanical Garden

      By the morning, visit Batumi Botanical Garden, located at the distance of 9 km from the center of Batumi, occupies the area of 108, 7 hectare of approximately 1 km stripe of Southern-Western section of the coastline located between the river Chakvistskali estuary and the Green Cape, being spread to the height of 0-220 meters from the sea level, which not long time ago was totally covered with Kolkheti type forest (beech, chestnut, linden) and evergreen sub-forest. Enjoy unforgettable views of mixture of the sea and forest. By the afternoon get back to Batumi city. 

      On this day weโ€™ll have free time in Batumi and can manage any additional activity if required.
