Kitenden Ranger Post โ€“ Lekishoko Wild Campsite

After breakfast at the lodge, your tour guide will brief you about the day ahead. Now you are ready to drive to Kitenden Ranger Post where your adventurous walking safari will begin. The first stage of the hike borders Kilimanjaro National Park. But before the start there is lunch and a get-to-know-you with your team. Your hiking guide and the ranger will inform you about the safety precautions, then you will set off from the Kitenden Ranger Post to the Lekishoko Wild Campsite. Itโ€™s an unestablished campsite tucked away in the middle of untouched wilderness, offering magnificent views of Mount Kilimanjaro on clear skies.

  • Day 3 Lekishiko Wild Campsite โ€“ Chui Campsite Sinya

Lekishiko Wild Campsite โ€“ Chui Campsite Sinya

At dawn, after youโ€™ve had breakfast and are ready for the next part of the journey, you set off from the campsite into the wilderness. Head to the cascading hills and scenic views of the Amboseli and Sinya areas. There are many wild animals living here, both small and large, that are worth discovering. At midday you will reach the deeper parts of the savannah and enjoy your lunch surrounded by wildlife. Your next stop is Chui Campsite, an established campsite. Your team has already gone to the square with your luggage and the dinner smells wonderful. Todayโ€™s hike is estimated to be 20 km long.

Chui Campsite Sinya โ€“ Corto Wild Camp

A hearty breakfast will be served at dawn before venturing into the African savanna plains. Todayโ€™s hike is about 15 km long and passes through dry grasslands, salt flats and green forest areas loved by giraffes and elephants. A hike filled with a variety of experiences including meeting some Maasai herders with their cows grazing on the plains alongside wild animals. These plains are untouched by civilization, and so the hike beautifully showcases the unspoiled nature. Magnificent views of Kilimanjaro, Mount Meru and Mount Longido round off the day. Your team will be available again at the Corto Wild Campsite, where a gourmet dinner will be served and those who wish can chat around the campfire and then rest.
