  • Day 1 Taipei - Taroko Gorge
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Taipei - Taroko Gorge

      Weโ€™ll pick you up from your hotel at noon for a leisurely drive down Taiwanโ€™s magnificent east coast, stopping at a few beautiful spots along the way. Weโ€™ll enjoy the magnificent view of Qingshui Cliff before arriving at Hualien City. Before nightfall, the host will prepare us BBQ for dinner and then explain to us everything we should know before soaking our feet in the river to catch the shrimp. Weโ€™ll be chatting, laughing, and enjoying nature After under the stars! After that, weโ€™ll head to our hotel in Hualien city and rest up for tomorrowโ€™s activities. 

      • Pick up from your accommodation in Taipei at noon
      • Drive down the eastern coast, stopping at a few points of interest along the way
      • Stop at Qingshui Cliff on the famous Suhua Highway coastal road
      • Enjoy riverside BBQ feast followed by shrimp catching in the river

  • Day 2 Taroko Gorge - Taipei
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Taroko Gorge - Taipei

      Today weโ€™ll explore Taroko Gorge more deeply. Weโ€™ll spend the day in the geologically stunning Taroko National Park. Best known for being the home of the visually stunning Taroko Gorge, the park is also a treasure trove of rivers and waterfalls, cliffs and trails, tunnels and temples. Weโ€™ll hike, sightsee, and explore the gorge, perhaps even seeing some of the local monkeys who call the area home before returning to Taipei.  

      • Breakfast at hotel
      • Head into Taroko Gorge, including visits to the picuturesque Swallow Grotto.                                
      • Savor the authentic indigenous cuisine in the National Park (at your own expense)
      • Hike Sakadang to see the crystal-clear turquoise water or Baiyang Trail to walk through the Water Curtain Tunnel  (*The trails close from time to time because of destruction caused by typhoon/earthquake. Our tour guide will discuss with you and choose the best one for you on the spot.)
      • Drive back up east coast to Taipei
