Day 01: Arrival at Mirissa
Welcome to beautiful Sri Lanka! You will be met at Bandaranaike International Airport for a private transfer to your hotel. Mirissa is a tropical paradise, famous for its long stretches of sandy beach, which offer stunning vistas of sunsets and sunrises. Here you will behold shoots of coconut palms dotting the coastline, offering shade to small fishing huts.

Day 02: Whale Watching in Mirissa
After an opulent breakfast, you will set out on a bucket-list excursion, where you will be able to watch magnificent whales swimming (and singing!) in their natural environment. The trip will not take you far off-shore, but you will be able to revel in the prospect of photographing Blue Whales, Brydeโs Whales, Sperm Whales, and Fin Whales. You will also see all types of dolphins, such as Spinner, Bottle Nosed, Stripped and Risso Dolphins. If you are lucky you might even find a school of Killer Whales.

Day 03: The Stilt Fishermen of Weligama
Today you will journey to Weligama on route to Galle. Weligama Beach is a delightful spot for sailing and surfing, whilst also being the site of a charming fishing village, where stilt fishermen practice their iconic ancient tradition. From there proceed to Galle, the main city of southern Sri Lanka, where Dutch architecture mingles with South Asian traditions. This is a city of ancient ramparts and bastions, and you will walk along streets lined with Dutch Colonial houses and their verandas.

Day 04: Talpe Beach at Leisure
Following a sumptuous breakfast, enjoy a day of leisure by the beach. Optionally you may plumb for a motor-boating tour on Koggala Lake, which boasts magnificent endemic wildlife and is dotted with islands. On one of these islands, you will find a Buddhist temple, which also encompasses a cinnamon plantation and herb-garden.

Day 05: Leisurely in Bentota
Following a delightful breakfast, you will set out on a visit to the inspiring Kosgoda Turtle Hatchery, a turtle conservation project which will inspire and fascinate in equal measure. Spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 06: Blissful Bentota
Enjoy your sumptuous breakfast, which will have you in fine fettle for a day of relaxation and leisure in Bentota, which boasts pristine stretches of sandy beaches. Venture out to sea for some deep sea fishing, or let yourself go with jet skiing, surfing, diving or body boarding. As the day approaches its end, gaze upon the golden sun sinking into the horizon. Choose an optional tour of the tropical Brief Garden, located 10 kilometers inland from Bentota. The main house was once the home of Bevis Bawa, the brother of the renowned architect Geoffrey Bawa, and there you will find an eclectic range of artwork on display - from homoerotic sculpture to a wonderful mural of Sri Lankan life in the style of Marc Chagall.

Day 07: Departure
Enjoy breakfast at your hotel, followed by a transfer to the airport for your onward flight. Come again soon!
