Itinerary of your trip Tennis Cruise Croatia - Premier Deluxe Boat

  • Day 1 Day 1
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 1

      Split to Brac Island

Your guide will meet you at Split airport and we will all board the airport shuttle bus to Split port, where our boat awaits. After welcome speeches and introduction to your friendly crew, we have lunch and depart!

The first destination is Bol, a gorgeous town on the south of Brac Island, for our first tennis session. Bolโ€™s tennis club is famous for hosting the WTA tour Bol Open (previous winners include former world no.2 and Wimbledon runner-up Vera Zvonareva). The courts are right next to the sea, so why not get refreshed with a dip right after a coupe of hours on the clay?

Itโ€™s an easy, pleasing stroll from the courts to the boat, where we can get changed and take our pick of restaurants and cocktail bars in Bolโ€™s magical old town!

  • Day 2 Day 2
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 2

      Brac Island to Mljet Island

After breakfast, our boat will have a swim stop at a bay chosen by our knowledgeable Captain. Time for swimming costumes, snorkels and inflatables!

After lunch we will dock in Vis Island, which is one of the most unotuched of the inhabited islands due to the fact it was a military zone during the Yugoslav years, meaning no tourists were allowed there for nearly 50 years! We have the option of a Vis military tour in the afternoon.

In the evening, we have the option of an onboard BBQ!

      Overnight Vis.

  • Day 3 Day 3
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 3

Vis Island to Blue Cave to Hvar Island

We leave Vis in the morning and (weather permitting!) we head for another nearby island called Bisevo. This island is home to the famous Blue Cave, where an ethereal blue glow from the seawater is created when sunlight hits the cave in the morning. We will have the opportunity to enter this cave in a dinghy and see this natural phenomenon!

After lunch we cruise to Hvar (either Jelsa or Stari Grad) - one of the island jewels of the Adriatic. In the late afternoon we will have another tennis session before returning to the boat to get changed and enjoy an evening out. Both Jelsa and Stari Grad have plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes to choose from...

The evening is free for everyone to seek out a favourite spot for the evening, explore the cobbled streets and revel in the atmosphere of this historical town.

      Overnight Hvar.

  • Day 4 Day 4
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 4

      Hvar Island to Korcula

We leave Hvar in the morning to make the crossing over to Korcula Island, leaving our Captain to find a lovely bay for a swim and lunch..

We dock in Korcula in the early afternoon, with the rest of the day ahead of us to explore this Venetian gem of an old town.

Last year, everyone raved about the wine-tasting in Korcula so we are offering this excursion again here. Sample 5 wines (reds, whites, rose and local prosecco) from this islands and the neighbouring penninsula of Peljesac.

      Overnight Korcula.

  • Day 5 Day 5
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 5

      Korcula to Makarska

Our boat leaves early for the crossing to Makarska, with another swim-stop in a secluded bay on the way.

Upon arrival to Makarska, we have a couple of hours free time to wander the promenades that characterise this coastal town (great ice-creams and cakes to be had here!) and perhaps find a souvenir or two..

In the late afternoon we have another tennis session at the wonderful Makarska Tennis Centre. After the session we have the option of a BBQ and a few beers at the centre, to celebrate another memorable day! Overnight Makarska.

  • Day 6 Day 6
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 6

      Makarska to Omis

Itโ€™s goodbye to Makarska and hello Omis!

This town is small, but has a lot to offer. Firstly, if you fancy seeing a "proper" Croatian beach then the city beach has a long stretch of sand and pebbles that has seawater on one side and fresh water from the river Cetina on the other.

Omis was known as the home of a notorious band of pirates who became the scourge of this part of the Adriatic. The piratesโ€™ fortress base that overlooks the town is well worth a visit as well. In the evening, we usually have a fancy-dress party on the boat. The theme? Nautical, of course!

      Overnight Omis.

  • Day 7 Day 7
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 7

      Omis to Split

This morning is dedicated to our final chance to have a swim at a beach or 2 between Omis and Split.

After lunch we will leave the boat near Split and be transferred to Stobrec, a village close to the city. This village has a tennis club, which although it does not have as spectacular a setting as the other centres on the cruise, is perfect for a round-robin Prosecco tournament!

We will have a scoreboard in the middle of the courts and tally up everyoneโ€™s total number of games per 20-min session. The winner gets a small trophy and a bottle of Prosecco!

Transfer back to Split to enjoy the last evening together on the boat and in Splitโ€™s spectacular Diocletianโ€™s Palace. Overnight Split.

  • Day 8 Day 8
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Day 8

      Split - disembarkation

After breakfast, we have to check out by 9am and say farewell to our crew and shipmates.

While many people will be flying home that day, it doesnโ€™t have to be the end of the adventure, as we recommend staying in Croatia longer to explore further afield to other amazing destinations nearby, including Plitvice Lakes, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Hvar Island!
