      From St. Wolfgang your route leads along the Sattlweg to the Schwarzensee, where the Lore lake hut awaits you with delicacies. Through the Wirerschlucht into the valley and around the Bรผrglstein to the lake promenade in Strobl. The bus takes you to the old imperial city of Bad Ischl.

  • Day 3 Bad Ischl-Hallstatt

      Bad Ischl-Hallstatt

      Salt is and was the most important raw material in the Salzkammergut. The oldest brine pipeline in the world leads from the Hallstatt salt mine to the salt works in Bad Ischl. You first hike along the Ischl promenade to Kaltenbachau, where horse races, picnics and rendezvous took place in imperial times. On the Soleleitungsweg it goes in the direction of Bad Goisern, the gateway to the world cultural heritage. If you want to go a little higher, hike the spectacular Ewigen Wand mountain trail. Continue by train and boat to Hallstatt.

  • Day 4 Hallstatt โ€“ St. Wolfgang

      Hallstatt โ€“ St. Wolfgang

      You can go to Bad Ischl by ship and train. You hike along the romantic Sissi path to the Nussensee and then follow the Ischl back to the Wolfgangsee. The lakeside path leads through the Blinklingmoos and along the lake back to your stage destination.
