Afterwards, marvel at the archipelago’s famous giant tortoises in their natural habitat at a special reserve, which also features several lava tunnels. The tortoises are easy to spot, lumbering about, eating grass and leaves, and wallowing in small pools. The final stop for the day is Puerto Ayora, where you will board your floating home for the next four nights, La Pinta.
