      Welcome to Rovaniemi:

      Welcome, you have arrived in Lapland!

      You will be picked up by the guide at the airport or train station and will be brought to your accommodation. 

      The rest of the day you will have time to settle in and explore the city and her nature by your self.

      10km Husky Sleigh Adventure:

      After breakfast in your hotel we will pick you up for a great adventure. You will find out all about the training, breeding and racing of these magnificent Arctic animals. Once you arrive at the local farm the dogs will take you on an exciting 10 km ride through the amazing landscapes of the Finnish countryside. Feel the excitement as you speed through the winter wonderland. Try not to miss the opportunity to capture your once in a lifetime moment with your sleigh team.

      After the journey, warm yourself up with some hot juice and Finnish gingerbread biscuits - the localโ€™s favourite winter snack.

      New Yearโ€™s Eve Party & New Year Northern Lights Photography Tour Special:

      Prepare yourself for an exciting journey to experience the New Yearโ€™s Eve in Lapland! You will be served a glass of non alcoholic champagne and some light snacks in the magical forest kota or cabin. 

      An essential part of the Finnish New Yearโ€™s Eve festivities are the numerous fireworks at midnight. Afterwards, with our professional photographer we will hunt the best that Lapland can offer, the Northern Lights! 

      If you want to learn how to take Northern Lights photos, follow our professional photographer and learn the tricks for capturing that perfect Northern Lights moment. Feel free to take your camera with you.

      Ice Fishing Experience in Lapland:


      Enjoy the breakfast in your hotel and embark for a day in the Arctic Nature. Hike through the Arctic forest to reach your destination for fishing. If the snow is deep enough, strap on your snowshoes and experience walking the Arctic way. Arriving at the lake, you will drill through thick ice with the support of your professional guide. Wait for a fish while you enjoy the magnificent scenery.


      After a while, head for your cookout trip. Gathered around a campfire in the snow you will taste Lappish pork sausages and salmon.

      Trip to Santa Claus Village 

      Feel the festive atmosphere in the Arctic city of Santa Claus homeland!

      You will be taken to the most exciting, popular destination in Finnish Lapland, located in the Arctic Circle 15 km north of Rovaniemi city center. Take a look at all the Christmas and Lappish souvenirs and greet Santa Claus in his office! Join the elves working in the Santaโ€™s post office and send postcards to all your friends and relatives with a special stamp on them. 

      Surprise your family or friends and send them a postcard from the Santa Clausโ€™s home in Santa Claus Post Office.

      You will also visit the Arctic Circle, a white line which denotes the Arctic area and goes all through the park. Once you cross it you will officially enter the Arctic area and you will receive the Arctic Circle Certificate for this unforgettable travel memory. A delicious lunch will be served at Santaโ€™s restaurant, where you can enjoy a traditional Christmas Lappish buffet. 


  • Day 5 Day 5: Farewell Lapland!

      Departure from Rovaniemi:

      After the breakfast and before the pick-up to the airport or train station you will have free time in Rovaniemi. Use the day off as you wish. Explore the city alone, walk along the river or drink a cup of coffee.
