  • Day 1 Rome
    • 12:00 am - 11:59 pm

      Rome

On arrival at Rome Fiumicino International Airport, make your own way to the hotel for check-in. Enjoy the remainder of the day at leisure. A 24-hour ticket for a double-decker tourist bus (with a multilingual audio guide) will be included, which can also be used for getting around the city. This is ideal for those who want to sightsee on their own to see the most famous symbols of Rome, such as the Colosseum, Piazza Navona, the Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, and Spain Square. In case of an early arrival in Rome, we recommend heading on a guided tour of the Vatican Museum and St Peterโ€™s Basilica, to admire Michelangeloโ€™s famous Sistine Chapel and other masterpieces of the Italian Renaissance more closely. You may also participate in a series of other optional activities, such as a Segway or Vespa tour, or a cooking lesson to learn how to make pizza and ice cream.

Among the places worth visiting are the Piazza Della Signoria, the medieval heart of the city, Piazza Santa Croce with its past noble familiesโ€™ buildings, and the home of Dante, the Supreme Poet and author of the Divine Comedy.
