Often branded as the โ€˜Capital of the Northโ€™, Akureyri is the second largest Icelandic settlement after Reykjavik.

      Arrive in Vestmanna this morning, in the northwest corner of Streymoy. Return to your ship for lunch before visiting the striking village of Saksun, an isolated settlement set beneath steep majestic mountains. Later visit a traditional Faeroese wooden church in Kollafjordur.

Later board your shipโ€™s Zodiacs to explore the wild basalt cliffs of the Shiant Islands.
