  • Day 1 Day 1: Arrival

      Day 1: Arrival

      Upon arrival at the Calgary airport, welcome by the German-speaking tour guide (between 3:30 and 5:30 p.m.) and transfer by hotel shuttle bus to the hotel near the airport.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump

      After breakfast you will travel to the south of the province of Alberta. There is the home of the "Blackfoot Indians". You will visit the UNESCO-awarded museum "Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump": here you will learn a lot of interesting facts about the way of life of the original Canadian population. Afterwards, you will continue on the "Cowboy Trail", always parallel to the majestic mountains of the Rocky Mountains and past numerous ranches, back towards Calgary.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Calgary - Banff National Park - Golden

      Breakfast at the hotel. Today the visit to Banff National Park is on the program. The oldest national park in Canada awaits you with impressive nature and the small town of Banff is also very worth seeing.


      On the "Bow Valley Parkway" you will continue to Johnston Canyon. Soon you will reach the world famous Lake Louise below the Victoria Glacier. Over the Kicking Horse Pass you drive into the Yoho National Park and are already in the province of British Columbia. In the late afternoon you will reach the small town of Golden.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Icefields Parkway

      Day 4: Icefields Parkway

      After breakfast you will drive on the Transcanada Highway again into Banff National Park. Soon after, the "Icefields Parkway" begins - a breathtaking mountain road. Passing countless glaciers and mountain peaks, you will make many photo stops today and experience numerous viewpoints. You will cross the Bow Pass (2134m) and then also reach the Jasper National Park. Here you will visit the "Icefield Center" at the Columbia Icefield with a view of the Athabasca Glacier. Here you also have the opportunity to take the "Snow Coach" to the Athabasca Glacier (not included - cost approx. CAD$ 72,- p.p.) . After a day in the beautiful Canadian mountains you will reach Golden again in the evening.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Golden - Vernon

      Day 5: Golden - Vernon

      You will have breakfast before continuing west on the Transcanada Highway. Todayโ€™s first highlight is the drive over Rogers Pass in Glacier National Park. Continue on to Mount Revelstoke National Park and the Sushwap region. Your stop today is in the fruit and wine growing region of Western Canada - the Okanagan Valley. Apples, cherries, pears, plums and peaches are grown here and the region is also home to more than 120 wineries producing first class wines. The town of Vernon is located in the northern part of the Okanagan region.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Vernon - Whistler

      Day 6: Vernon - Whistler

      Breakfast at the hotel. Afterwards you will travel further west. You will reach the metropolis of the Okanagan, Kelowna, and then also see the over 150km long Okanagan Lake. You will follow this lake for a short distance until the route branches off into the heart of British Columbiaโ€™s cattle industry. Passing the town of Merritt, you will reach the impressive Thompson River at Spences Bridge. Via Lytton you will reach the former gold mining town of Lilloet. Here begins the magnificent Duffey-Lake Road - a former logging road and today one of the most beautiful mountain roads in Western Canada! In the afternoon you will reach the former Olympic resort of Whistler.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Whistler - Vancouver - Richmond

      After breakfast you will drive south on the "Sea-to-Sky-Highway". On the way the "Shannon Falls" and the beautiful coast of Howe Sound are waiting for you! After crossing the famous Lions Gate Bridge, you will be in Vancouver. You will experience one of the most beautiful cities in the world during the city tour. You will see Stanley Park with its totem poles, China Town, Robson Street, Gastown and Granville Island. Greater Vancouver is one of Canadaโ€™s magical metropolises, with Burnaby, Surrey, Richmond and New Westminster immediately adjacent to Vancouver!

      Opportunity to join the Vancouver Island excursion to Victoria (full day tour in English, if possible in German, but not guaranteed - price including ferry crossing and entrance Butchart Gardens per person CAD $245.00) : Early departure from hotel to Tsawwassen ferry terminal. By ferry you will reach Vancouver Island after about 1ยฝ hours. There you will first visit the famous Butchart Gardens. Then continue to Victoria. Short orientation tour in the capital of the province of British Columbia. Afterwards, time at leisure. In the afternoon return by bus & ferry to Vancouver.

      Opportunity to join the excursion to North Vancouver (half day tour in English, if possible in German but not guaranteed - price including entrance Capilano Suspension Bridge per person CAD $140.00): You will visit the famous "Capilano Suspension Bridge". The Capilano Suspension Bridge spans the river of the same name at a height of 70 meters and is an impressive attraction with its length of 136 meters.
