      2.00 โ€“ 2.15PM: Go on a cultural immersion around Vietnamโ€™s capital city and discover Hanoiโ€™s heritage and traditions on a guided day tour. We will head to our first stop at the Ho Chi Minh Complex. Named after the Vietnamese revolutionary leader and first president of the country, the complex is a significant destination for Vietnamese pilgrims, housing not only the final resting place of Uncle Ho himself, but also containing the Presidential Palace, a museum, and even the iconic One Pillar Pagoda. 

      Our tour guide will fill you in on the legacy left behind by Ho Chi Minh as you make your way around the complex. Our next stop in the tour is right at the One Pillar Pagoda, just a three-minute walk from the complexโ€™s mausoleum. One of two most famous Buddhist temples  in the country, the One Pillar Pagoda stands as a symbol of a thousand years of civilization. Make our way to Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest Buddhist temple in Vietnam, dating back as early as the 6th century. 

      We will then visit the Temple of literature, first university of Vietnam.

      OPTIONAL: Then, we can end our tour with an entertaining Water Puppet Show as optional choice (if you informed us prior to the tour with extra cost), an unique show where puppeteers immerse themselves in the waters as they use their strong arms to control the puppets and narrate folk stories, legends and more. Finally, we can take a cyclo to have a different look of the hustle and bustle Hanoi city before enjoying the welcome dinner at an Indian restaurant.

      The tour will conclude with a safe transfer back to our hotel to enjoy the rest of your evening. Overnight in Hanoi.

      11:45 โ€“ 12:00: Arriving Tuan Chau marina, transferred by tender of cruises. 

      12:45 โ€“ 13:00: Welcome aboard the cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, 

      crew in the cruise briefing, safety instruction. 

      13:00 โ€“ 13:15: A special lunch in Vietnamese cuisine of fresh seafood and an assortment of 

      appetizing favorites are served while sailing through Islets of Con Vit. 

      16:00: The Cruise sails through Lan Ha Bay. The area is surrounding of extraordinary limestone 

      karsts landscapes. We progress to Ong Cam Area of Lan Ha Bay- a separate part of Ha Long

      Bay. This is a quiet tourist paradise in Vietnam, enjoy kayaking and/or enjoy swimming in the 

      crystal-clear waters of the Bay.

      17:30: Back to Cruise, drop anchor for staying overnight. Enjoy cooking 

      demonstration (teaching you how to make our speciality, Spring rolls) and the complimentary 

      Sunset Party on the sundeck with local wine and fresh fruit.

      19:00: Dinner is served in the restaurant. Enjoy delicious local food prepared and served for you 

      by our wonderful onboard catering staff. After dinner, retiring to your cabin or join the fishing 

      excursion, watch a movie, have a drink at the bar, wifi access or play exciting games. Overnight

      06:00: Enjoy sunrise and admire the never-ending miraculous scenery of the Bay. Practice an invigorating Tai Chi session on the sundeck.

      06:30: Light breakfast, coffee and tea served. 

      07:00: Visit Dark & Bright Cave and islets by local rowing boats which is a wild and mysterious beauty in the middle of the World Heritage.

      09:15: Back to our Cruise, relax before checking out. 

      10:00: Lunch is served on board.

      12:00: Disembark at the Tuan Chau marina by tender. Take our shuttle bus to return to Hanoi

      Pickup at the hotel at 7:50 โ€“ 8.00 am, we drive to visit My Son. The My Son temple complex is regarded one of the foremost Hindu temple complexes in Southeast Asia and is the foremost heritage site of this nature in Vietnam. It is often compared with other historical temple complexes in Southeast Asia, such as Borobodur of Java in Indonesia, Angkor Wat of Cambodia, Bagan of Myanmar and Ayutthaya of Thailand. Although badly damaged by bombing raids in the 1960s, the site still has more than 20 structures and was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1999. 

      Leaving My Son for boat station and taking a boat trip on Thu Bon river. You could visit the living of the local people and feeling the fresh air. Enjoy the beautiful views along the river. Arrive Hoian in early afternoon. Free time to explore Hoian ancient town.

      Pickup at the hotel at around 7:00, we head out of town to visit the Cu Chi Tunnels, which is an extensive underground network of approximately 200 kilometers of tunnels dug initially by the Viet Minh and then expanded by the Viet Cong. Here contains hospitals, plus accommodation and schools, and were used extensively for refuge and storage and also utilized as a military base for the Viet Cong close to Saigon. 

      In the afternoon, transfer to Saigon for half day city tour. 

      Our city tour will help you to see the best of Saigon. We visit the historic Reunification palace and War Remnants Museum, followed by the architectural treats of French colonial Notre Dame Cathedral and the post Office. Free time at leisure or shopping at Ben Thanh Market nearby.

      7.30 am: Please catch a taxi on your own (you can ask the receptionist to help) and be ready at the meeting point (303 Phแบกm Ngลฉ Lรฃo street, Ho Chi Minh) to catch the bus to Siem Reap with Giantibis bus which will start at 8.00 am. (It would be around 1,7 km from your hotel to get to this meeting point).

      Around 15.30 pm: You will have a stop by in Phnom Penh. Take a rest and be ready to take another bus journey with Seila Angkor bus at 16.00pm to Siem Reap.

      6:00: Early morning, drive to the rural outskirt 35km from Angkor area to visit the smallest, but magnificent, Banteay Srei built in the 10th Century and dedicated to Shiva. The temple was the birthplace of Khmer classical style architecture and the bas-relief work is the best example of Khmer classical art remaining. The pink sandstone structure bears a series of striking and beautiful sculptures, lintels, pediments and friezes. 

      Khmers say the temple must have been carved by women for the details are too fine for the hands of a man.  Not to be missed is Banteay Samre: Its rose-colored sandstone walls are decorated with carvings and bas-reliefs, which are among the most accomplished Angkor has to offer.

      Visit the picturesque Ta Prohm that had nearly disappeared into the jungle and remains overgrown, an oddly haunting and exotic scene. The magnificent roots of a tree, pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, evoke feelings that you may remember forever. 

      We drive to Angkor Thom that was the masterpiece of King Jayavarman VII. Following the occupation of Angkor by the Chams from 1177 to 1181, the new king decided to build an impregnable fortress at the heart of his empire.  

      We begin to visit Bayon Temple. At the exact center of Angkor Thom, this is an eccentric expression of the creative genius and inflated ego of Cambodiaโ€™s most celebrated king. 

      Continue visit to Wat Thmey or Killing Field, contains a unique glass-walled stupa containing the bones of victims of the Khmer Rouge.

      07:00: Early morning, we journey out to the mother of all temples, Angkor Wat. Believed to be the worldโ€™s largest religious building, this temple is the perfect fusion of symbolism and symmetry and a source of pride and strength to all Khmers.

      Transfer to Siem Reap airport for flight to Luang Prabang. 

      Sabaidee! Welcome to Luang Prabang, a tranquil town with its gleaming temple roofs, fading colonial architecture and stunning mountain backdrop has been claimed by UNESCO to be โ€œthe best preserved traditional city in Southeast Asiaโ€. You are greeted by your driver (no guide) at the airport for your transfer to the hotel. Rest of the day is at your own leisure.

      08:30am: Travel south of town to the famous Kuangsi Waterfall; the turquoise color of the water with a backdrop of white limestone cliffs gives the waterfall a magical appearance. Depending on the season the water level varies and you can be swimming in the beautiful pools. While there, you also will have the opportunity to visit the Sun Bear Reserve, a conservation center that rescues animals from the wildlife trade. We also visited Kuang Si Butterfly Park is a project that was initiated in January 2014 by 2 Dutch passionate people from Holland. The mission is to create a research centre studying and publishing about Laos butterflies, host plants and preservation because of environmental issues in Laos. Last but not least, we visit Laos Buffalo Dairy is a socially responsible, sustainable farm, and social enterprise.

      Afternoon: embark on the boat to Pak Ou Caves, enjoy splendid natural scenery along the way and observe local fishermen and daily activities along the river. Pak Ou Caves, locally called Tam Ting, are filled with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues. The caves are noted for their miniature Buddha sculptures. Hundreds of wooden Buddhist figures take many different positions, including meditation, teaching, peace, rain and reclining (nirvana). On the way back, you will also have the opportunity to visit the local riverside villages of Ban Xanghai, a popular stop-over producing some special varieties of Laolao, the local rice wine. Second stop at Ban Xang Khong, known for its handmade paper and weaving craft. On a bright day, youโ€™ll have a chance to enjoy the marvellous sunset while cruising down along the mighty Mekong.

      We wake up early in the morning (optional) to witness Alms Giving. The alms-giving ceremony takes place all over Luang Prabang. One of the most popular routes to witness the giving of alms is by Wat Mai temple on Sisavangvong Road. But, this means that the location is usually filled with tourists.

      If you are looking for a quieter spot and a chance to experience a more authentic side to the ceremony, head to one of the side roads. Iโ€™d recommend attending an alms-giving in both locations to see for yourself how the ritual is being affected by tourism.

      8:00-8:00: Our Elephant English camp guide will pick you up from your hotel lobby in Luang Prabang, Laos. Arrival at the Elephant Village Camp: Welcome greeting by your guide; participate in a short briefing about elephants. Get close to elephants by feeding them. Visit the museum, photo gallery, elephant hospital, and location where dung paper is made as you explore Elephant Village. Enjoy the unforgettable experience of becoming a mahout and learn to speak with your elephant one-on-one!

      We reach Tad Sae Waterfall with a traditional Lao long boat. There, you can unwind or go swimming in the refreshing water (swimsuits are advised!).

      Lunch: Enjoy a meal at our restaurant, Elephant Camp. Served with coffee, tea, and water at the lunch buffet (vegetarian options are available). Transfer back to your hotel around 1pm. 

      Hop on Tuk Tuk and we visit the National Museum at the former Royal Palace displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. The National Museum and the Central Market are not to be missed. We enjoy a short tour seeing the cityโ€™s oldest temple Wat Sene and Wat Xieng Thong, a significant monument to the spirit of religion, royalty and traditional art. Later weโ€™ll visit the impressive Wat Visoun, the oldest temple that houses many Buddha images. Next is Wat Aham, the โ€˜Monastery of the Blossomed Heartโ€™ exudes serenity, and Wat Mai, the largest and most richly decorated of the temples in this city.

      Evening, enjoy Luang Prabang night maket, offering a lovely variety of handmade textiles crafted by local and hill-tribe people, along with street food, knick-knacks and friendly banter.

      After breakfast, transfer to Yangon airport departure to Mandalay by flight. Upon arrival at Mandalay Airport, drive to Ava, on the way observe Mandalayโ€™s various agricultural landscapes and villages on a panoramic view.

      On the way to Mandalay, visit to the former Royal Capital of Innwa (Ava) by taking a small boat for a few minutes and visit Maha Aungmye Bonzan Monastery (Maenu Okyaung), ruins of ancient Ava Watch Tower (outside), fort walls and brick causeway and Bargaya Teak Wood Monastery.

      The last in a day, to Amarapura, head out to U Bein bridge a 200-year old, built-in 1782 and reputed to be the worldโ€™s longest teak footbridge Enjoy a stroll along the bridge and the fabulous views of the surrounding farms and streams.

      Following the sightseeing, return to Mandalay and take the rest evening for leisure.

      Enjoy breakfast at the hotel before heading out to experience the sights and sounds of Mandalay. Drive to Mandalay hill and enjoy the panoramic view of former royal city from Mandalay hill. Next, start exploring some of the most hallowed attractions in Mandalay starting with a visit to Shwe Kyaung (Golden Palace Monastery) โ€“ an excellent example of a traditional wooden building. Also, visit Kuthodaw Pagoda which houses the worldโ€™s largest book. It consists of 1,460 pages, each measuring three and a half feet wide, ๏ฌve feet long, and ๏ฌve inches thick. Each page is made of marble and is placed upright on a stand of its own. Combined, the bookโ€™s pages cover 13 acres. After that, continue to visit one of the most revered religious images in Myanmar โ€“ the Mahamuni Pagoda. Admire the beautiful gold leaf covered statues on display.

      In the afternoon, the journey continues to jetty to join a local private boat trip to Mingun (11 km, about one hour) enjoying the picturesque scenery of this river and the lifestyles of the local people, small longtail boats, bamboo rafts, and ferries carrying goods up and down the river. Arrive Mingun and start to visit the Mingun Bell, Mingun Bell which weighs more than 87 tons and is more than 3.7 meters tall. This is the worldโ€™s largest uncracked bell. 

      Head to the beautiful Hsinbyume (Ma Thein Tan) Pagoda, a white-washed temple built to resemble Mount Meru. And the unfinished, mighty Mingun Pagoda (built to be the worldโ€™s biggest. Cruise along the river, sail back to Mandalay and savor sunset vistas over the scenic beauty of River Ayeyarwady. 

      Return back to the hotel and overnight in Mandalay.

      Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Bagan and visit Mount Popa on the way to Bagan. Explore the Mount Popa, an ancient extinct volcano home of a temple dedicated to animist spirits.

      The shrine is located on a volcanic crag, Taung Kalat. Climb the 777 stairs to the top, learn about nats and nat worship while climbing past many shrines and see many local pilgrims and monkeys. On the way back to Bagan, make a stop in a palm plantation where you can learn about the manufacturing process of sugar and pomade Palma.

      Arrive at Bagan that is one of the UNESCO heritage site of Myanmar and well known as the land of ancient temples and Pagodas. Free and leisure at the hotel.

      In the late afternoon, the journey begins with a visit to a little complex including Payathonzu, Lemyentha, and Nandamannya Temples with spectacular views over the surrounding plains. This is the perfect introduction to the grandeur and scope of Baganโ€™s architecture. Walking tours around these beautiful Temples complex make for some excellent photo opportunities. Enjoy the sunset at one of the hillocks over the Bagan plains and admire the light change on the pagodas as they exude antiquity and mystery.

      Breakfast at hotel. Your guide will transport you to the Nyaung U morning market. This market is always teaming with locals and filled with farm fresh fruits, vegetables, herbs and spices, meats and locally caught fish, as well as all manner of consumer goods from clothing to household items. There are also areas that are filled with stalls selling all types of souvenir items for visitors. Once your guide has familiarized you with the layout you will have some time on your own to explore and shop in this vast market.

      Your next stop is one of Baganโ€™s oldest and most famous sites, the Shwezigon Pagoda. The center piece of Shwezigon Pagoda is its large golden bell-shaped stupa built of sandstone blocks, covered in gold and is believed to enshrine a Buddha tooth and hair. You will explore this beautiful legendary pagoda and the many unique Nat shrines and small temples that surround the central stupa.

      Then, visit the well-known Ananda Pagoda which contains what is considered to be the most beautiful remaining temple in all of Bagan. At the heart of its Mon architectural style structure stands four 31-foot-tall standing Buddha images gilded in gold leaf. 

      Your afternoon begins with a visit to one of the many local workshops in Myingabar village to watch the skilled craftsman produce and decorate lacquerware items. Bagan is one of the last remaining locations in the world where quality lacquerware items are produced. After your educational tour there will be time for shopping.

      Transfer to the hotel for check in. The first temple of the day will be the Damayangyi Temple which is the most massive temple ever constructed in Bagan. Finally, you will be transported by local horse cart to the best spot in Bagan to view the sunset. After that, transfer back to your hotel. Leisure and overnight at a hotel.

      An early breakfast this morning, proceed to Nyaung U airport for (Approx: 40 mins) short flight to Heho airport. Upon arrival at Heho airport, an hourโ€™s drive to Nyaung Shwe jetty at the gateway of the Inle Lake famous for its unique leg rower. En route, the stop will be at a local family-run workshop to observe paper making for the production of traditional Shan parasols. Then, visit โ€œShwe Yan Pyay, a beautiful red-painted teak building dating back to the 19th century.

      Arrive in Nyaung Shwe and start a local boat trip on Inle Lake which is a photographerโ€™s dream because of its natural beauty and landscapes. Its calm waters are dotted with floating vegetation and fishing canoes to which picturesque hills provide the perfect backdrop. Explore the lakeโ€™s only โ€™leg rowersโ€™, Intha fishermen who stand up with one leg around a single paddle, leaving their hands free to manipulate the conical fishing net. Marvel at Phaung Daw Oo Pagoda, the holiest religious site in southern Shan State.  

      Afterward, visit a traditional boat building workshop, and the longboats used to traverse Inle Lake take four weeks to build and are made of local teak. Stop to see traditional handicrafts silk weaving on wooden handlooms and fabrics with the fibers of the lotus flower. Pass endless floating gardens, where Intha lake dwellers grow fruit and vegetables. 

      After a day of exploring, transfer to the hotel and overnight in Inle.

      Enjoy breakfast at the hotel, morning visit to the local market; it rotates its location around the lake villages in a 5 days rhythm. The typical market offers an insight into the life of the ethnic Pa-O, Danu, and Intha people who come to these markets to sell and buy goods. 

      Long-tailed boat across the lake to Indein at the western end of Inle for one of the most scenic trips on the Lake. Disembark at the jetty and walk for a few minutes through Indein village to reach the 14th โ€“ 18th century pagoda ruins of Nyaung Oak. A covered walkway popular with souvenir stall holders leads up to Shwe Inn Thein Paya, a complex of weather-beaten 17th โ€“ 18th century zedi; some newly reconstructed. 

      Return to Inle Lake and continue to visit Cheroot โ€“makerโ€™s workshop where typical Burmese cigars are made by hand and pass by a traditional blacksmithโ€™s forge. Itโ€™s time to explore the canoe boat experience by Inle Canoe Lady. The canoe will be rowed by local women who work at the cigar workshop but are offering this short trip to provide their families with an extra income. The canoe through the channels, between the houses built on stilts and the floating gardens of the โ€œInthaโ€ that live in the lake. 

      Once your exploration of the pagoda is complete you will be transported to the Heho Airport to have flight back to Yangon.
