  • Day 1 Day 1: Yangon - Fly To Loikaw - Sightseeing

      Day 1: Yangon - Fly To Loikaw - Sightseeing

      This morning we will pick you up (driver only, no guide) from your hotel in Yangon to the airport for the flight to Loikaw, capital of the state Kayah, which houses the Taungkwe pagoda, a stupendous complex of golden stupas resting on rocky massifs connected by small bridges, as well as some remarkable old monuments.

      When you land at Loikaw Airport, our guide and driver in Loikaw will warmly greet you and prepare for the half-day hike in the town of Loikaw. The half-day trekking begins with the Daw Saw Pee village to visit the spiritual post (Kay Htoe Poe in the local section). Then go to Daw Mu Kalar, Fathama and Ba Darr Nyay Villages. Return to Loikaw for check-in hotel and relax.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Loikaw - Panpet - Daw Da Ma Gyi - Loikaw (Around 6Hrs Trek)

      Day 2: Loikaw - Panpet - Daw Da Ma Gyi - Loikaw (Around 6Hrs Trek)

      An hour drive takes you to the village of Pa Say Lar in Dee Maw Soe Township to jump off our beautiful 6 hour hike to Panpet village, home of the Kayan tribe (Palaung). Take the time to see the "giraffe" woman with the long neck. There are about 20 to 25 houses in the village where the woman is still wearing bronze coils around her neck. Talk to the ethnic tribe to learn more about their history. One of their beliefs is that the longer the neck, the better the person is. Therefore, Palaung women, at the proper age, wear spiral bronze rings around their necks. The older they are, the more they must wear rings. Trekking in the middle of beautiful mountains and breathtaking. A lunch box will be served on the way. 

      After Panpet, return to Daw Da Ma Gyi village to explore the Kayah tribe  before returning to your hotel to rest.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Loikaw - Ah Khu โ€“ Loikaw (Around 4.5Hrs Drive/Way)

      Day 3: Loikaw - Ah Khu โ€“ Loikaw (Around 4.5Hrs Drive/Way)

      This morning we will start early at 6am after taking the breakfast box. Then drive about 4 hours and 30 minutes to Ah Khu Village, the less touristic village far from Loikaw. This is home to Ah Khu tribe, where their traditions and custom remand intact. Walking at the village and understand more about their way of life. This is your chance to taking the nice shoot in the rural area. 

      Return to Loikaw in the afternoon.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Loikaw - Fly Back Yangon - Departure

      This morning we will drive to Loikaw Airport to fly to Yangon. Arrival in Yangon and transfer to Yangon International Airport to catch your return flight. (No guide or car in Yangon) End of tour services! 

      A free shuttle service is provided between Terminal No. 01 (international arrival and departure) and Terminal No. 03 (domestic arrivals and departures).
