  • Day 1 Day 1: Otavalo Indigenous Market

      Day 1: Otavalo Indigenous Market

      The adventure starts with a Cultural visit the biggest indigenous markets in SouthAmerica, Otavalo. On our way to this town, we will pass by San Pablo Lake and have bizcochos, typical from the area. At our arrival, we will see the Ponchos plaza, full of handicrafts and souvenirs. Later on, we will visit the towns of Cotacachi, known for the leather goods produced there and the waterfall of Peguche, our first sight of Nature in our trip.

  • Day 2 Day 2: Papallacta Hot Springs

      Day 2: Papallacta Hot Springs

      The fun continues while we drive through the Paramo, the high mountains and endemic vegetation offer a beautiful landscape. Gaining altitude, we reach the hot springs town of Papallacta. We arrive into a fancy spa where we can soak our worries away, here we can take spa treatments, massages or just enjoy the beauty of the cloud forest.

  • Day 3 Day 3: Hummingbirds In The Cloudforest

      Day 3: Hummingbirds In The Cloudforest

      The landscape continuously changes with us. In the morning, we enjoy the last of the spa and head to visit thousands of hummingbirds, the weather and vegetation attract this little birds and we can see them from up close. 

      We continue our driving until we reach the edge of the cloud forest, on the bridge of the Arajuno river, we take a canoe that will lead us to the riverfront lodge. After lunch, we can relax with the sounds of nature and in the evening we take our flashlights to discover the life within the forest on a night walk.

  • Day 4 Day 4: Amazon Canoe Ride And Wildlife

      Day 4: Amazon Canoe Ride And Wildlife

      Today we will visit the AmaZOOnico, a refuge for animals in danger of extinction. The shelter is full of several different species endemic of the Amazon Rainforest. Later on, we will visit one of the Kichwa families of the area to learn about their traditions and way of life. We will have the chance to cook with them an ancient recipe.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Valley Of Waterfalls In Banos

      Day 5: Valley Of Waterfalls In Banos

      On our way to the town of Baรฑos, we will pass by Puyo to visit a balsa carving shop. Once in the Sangay National park, we will see the magnificent Devils Cauldron waterfall, surrounded by a wall of rock the water falls threatening close to us. We explore the valley of waterfalls stopping in the way to take photos of the landscapes. 

      In the afternoon we can enjoy the colorful town and its nightlife.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Chimborazo Volcano And Vicunas

      Day 6: Chimborazo Volcano And Vicunas

      We leave early to reach the highest point to the sun on earth, The Chimborazo Volcano, we will hike to the glacier and on clear days have a spectacular view of the Andes Cordillera. 

      We will spend the night in the magical lodge at the slopes of the volcano.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Devilโ€™S Nose Train And Ingapirca Ruins

      Day 7: Devilโ€™S Nose Train And Ingapirca Ruins

      Today we will ride the best part of the railroads in Ecuador, the Devilโ€™s Nose train. We start our journey in Alausi, close to Riobamba and head all the way up to the town of Simbambe. The zigzags of the road make this ride one of the most exciting in the world! 

      In the afternoon, and on our way to Cuenca we will stop in Ingapirca, the largest complex of Inca Ruins in Ecuador, here we will learn about the Caรฑari. At the end of the day, we arrive in Cuenca city to spend the night.

      Day 8: Cuenca City

      The city of Cuenca greet us, we will have a city tour visiting the main plazas and churches and the Turi lookout point. Cuenca is the perfect place to see the artisans working on the Panama Hats.
