Transport

4 days car rental - Toyota Corolla Hatch automatic or similar (driver must be 21 years old) The minimum age to rent and drive a vehicle is 21. Please note there is an additional surcharge of $28.75 (including GST) for drivers aged from 21 to 24 years inclusive. The cost of this is payable directly to Europcar upon collection On collection you will require a credit card to collect your vehicle. Note debit or pre-loaded travel type credit cards may not be accepted. Europcar also require a bond of up tp NZ$350 in the form of a credit card imprint. This is only authorized and not debited to your card. This is fully refundable should no extra charges be incurred during your rental period. A full tank of fuel is provided on collection of the vehicle. Please return the car with a full tank to avoid any additional refuelling charges. Any number of drivers can be listed at no additional charge. All drivers must have a valid driving licence printed in English or a valid international licence. When you collect your rental car please ensure you are familiar with and understand the terms and conditions of renting a car.

      On arrival into Queenstown international airport you will be met from your flight by one of our representatives. They will deliver your tour document pack containing everything you will need and assist you on your way.

      Hop aboard the Skyline Gondola - the steepest cable car lift in the Southern hemisphere - and take in the awe-inspiring views of this spectacular landscape. Sit back and relax as you enjoy panoramic views of The Remarkables, Walter Peak, Cecil Peak and Coronet Peak - one of Queenstownโ€™s Ski field.

      The picturesque drive hugging the shores of Lake Wakatipu is reason enough to head to the township of Glenorchy. Situated at the northern end of Lake Wakatipu, around 45 kilometres from Queenstown the township is home to a few small and unusual stores, some wonderful activities such as Dart River Safaris, Horse Trekking and some superb walking tracks. Just a little further along (and well sign-posted) is Paradise and the name is certainly justified as this tiny hamlet sits on the edge of the lake and on the outskirts of Mt. Aspiring National Park.

      Go back in time on this return trip to Walter Peak High Country Farm aboard the historic TSS Earnslaw Steamship. Youโ€™ll be greeted off the boat and guided through beautiful lakeside gardens to the charming homestead.


      Here youโ€™ll enjoy a Gourmet BBQ dinner which your chef will prepare in front of you. The seasonal menu includes an expansive array of local produce, including succulent meats cooked on the outdoor rotisserie and a selection of delicious vegetables and salads.       Queenstown to Wanaka

      Leaving Queenstown youโ€™ll drive over New Zealandโ€™s highest sealed road, the Crown Range before arriving into the resort town of Wanaka.


      Paddle Wanaka Tiki Tour

      This is a fantastic introduction to kayaking, with an easy guided paddle exploring the beautiful Lake Wanaka coastline and enjoying the outstanding scenery. You will be whisked away to a remote section of the beautiful Lake Wanaka where you will be fitted out with safety gear and given a kayaking skills lesson before you get out onto the water. No matter how fast you go, after about an hour your guide will find you an epic spot to take a rest and have some light refreshments.


      Looping back to your start point (after exploring a few more hidden sweet-spots and taking a few more photos), youโ€™ll leave the kayaks behind and cruise or drive back into town.

      Leaving Wanaka you head over New Zealandโ€™s highest sealed road, Crown Range Road before dropping into Queenstown. This drive should be planned as a whole day to really enjoy the scenery and to allow time to explore the walks, and many stops en route.

      Explore more of Queenstown before dropping your rental car at the airport depot and continuing your onward journey.
