Day 1: ARRIVAL IN LIMA
Pass By: Miraflores District, Lima Peru
Assistance provided at your arrival to Lima International Airport and transfer to your Hotel. There you will receive a briefing on your tour and additional information on the organization of your Peru trip.

Day 2: FLIGHT TO IQUITOS
Stop At: Iquitos, Iquitos, Loreto Region
Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast, transfer to Lima airport to board your flight to Iquitos. Reception at the airport, brief city orientation and transfer to the Explorama dock. Twenty-five mile journey down the Amazon River to Ceiba Tops, where rooms with air conditioning and private bathrooms provide the comforts of home in the rainforest. Afternoon hike in the beautiful primary rainforest reserve surrounding the lodge which includes many huge trees festooned with epiphytes. After dinner, your guide will take you on a short walk to a small lake where caiman can be spotted at night and where you can find some of the insects and frogs that produce the cacophony of sounds that begin after dark.

Day 3: IQUITOS
Stop At: Iquitos, Iquitos, Loreto Region
Morning boat ride, spotting for dolphins, to visit a small village of Yagua Indians where your guide will explain the local Yagua Indian culture and how it was affected by the arrival of Europeans and the passing of time. There will also be an opportunity to see some of the local crafts and for a demonstration of the blowgun which some of the Yagua elders still use for hunting. Afternoon excursion to the neighboring town of Indiana. Originally a Franciscan mission, Indiana has grown into a large river community with its own market, high school, and a small hospital.

Day 4: IQUITOS - CUSCO
Pass By: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
Your choice of morning walking or boating excursion to further enjoy the rainforest and Amazon River. Afternoon transfer to Iquitos and to the airport to board your flight to Cusco. At your arrival, welcome and transfer to your hotel. Rest and adapt to altitude.

Day 5: CITY TOUR CUSCO
Stop At: Cusco, Cusco, Cusco Region
At afternoon, Guided sightseeing tour to the impressive colonial city built on the bases of Inca palaces. The tour starts visiting the main square, which was formerly called Huacaypata. The tour continue with the Cathedral and the Temple of the sun or also called Qoricancha.
In addition, we will visit the 4 ruins adjancent to the city: The fortress of Sacsayhuaman, the ceremonial center of Qenqo, tambomachay and the fort of puka pukara

Day 6: SANCTUARY OF MACHU PICCHU
Stop At: Machu Picchu, Machu Picchu, Sacred Valley, Cusco Region
At a convenient time, transfer to train station in Poroy for take your expedition train to Aguas Calientes. At your arrival in Aguas Calientes, you will statr your tour with an 30-minute bus drive, climbing 6km of winding road, to the incredible Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu, also known as "The Lost City of the Incas".
We'll participate in a guided tour of the Citadel, visiting the Main Plaza, the Circular Tower, the Sacred Sun Dial, the Royal Quarters, the Temple of the Three Windows and various burial grounds. Then, we take the bus back to Aguas Calientes. You will have a delicious buffet lunch in a local restaurant. After lunch, you will go to the train station and wait for your train ride back to Cusco.

Day 7: FLIGHT TO LIMA
