      Today youโ€™ll set out across the stunning Darling Ranges on the way to the charming town of York. Continue to Hyden and visit the incredible Wave Rock.

      Day 3: Coolgardie, Kalgoorlie

      Journey through the wheat belt to Coolgardie today, and discover the site of Western Australiaโ€™s original gold rush. Then, continue on to Kalgoorlie, where more than half of all the gold mined in Australia is sourced, and see the โ€˜Golden Mileโ€™, which is said to be the richest square mile in the world.

      Head for Lake Lefroy and marvel at the stark white salt pans that stretch into the distance. Continue to the beautiful seaside town of Esperance where youโ€™ll enjoy dinner as a group this evening.

      Take in the sights of Esperance today, including Twilight Bay and the incredible Pink Lake. Then, drive though the Stirling Range and meet a local wildflower expert. From Bluff Knoll, see the jagged peaks towering over bushland thatโ€™s dotted with wildflowers in the spring. Later, arrive in Albany.

      Located at the mouth of the Swan River, Fremantle is famous for its wonderful beaches and laid-back atmosphere. Explore the city and admire its beautiful architecture before returning to nearby Perth this afternoon. Enjoy a free afternoon and evening to relax or explore your surroundings at your own pace.

      Venture north to the monastic town of New Norcia and enjoy a visit to the Museum and Art Gallery. Established in 1847 by Spanish Benedictine monks as a mission for the local Aboriginal people, the monastery is still used for prayer every day. During your time here, explore the unique mix of Aboriginal and European heritage. This afternoon, continue to the coastal city of Geraldton.

      Journey to Eagle Bluff and look out for the rays and fish that often visit the waters below. Continue to the small town of Denham and visit the Shark Bay Interpretive Centre. Later, head to Monkey Mia at World Heritage-listed Shark Bay.

      Today, youโ€™ll visit one of the best places for dolphin interaction. At Monkey Mia, youโ€™ll enjoy a rare up-close encounter with these clever mammals at the daily dolphin feeding experience (subject to appearance). The remainder of this afternoon is yours at leisure.

  • Day 13 Day 13: Shell Beach, Hamelin Pool, Kalbarri

      Day 13: Shell Beach, Hamelin Pool, Kalbarri

      Travel to Shell Beach, a 60-kilometre beach consisting of billions of tiny white sea shells. Continue to Hamelin Pool to view some of the worldโ€™s oldest living fossils, the stromatolites, among the first sources of oxygen on the planet. Later, visit Kalbarri National Park, where around 800 species of wildflowers bloom in the spring.
