  • Day 1 Day Tour Of Bucharest

      We will start this amazing 8 days adventure with a city tour of Bucharest, the place where the cultures of Western and Eastern Europe merge beautifully. Beyond this exotic mix, you can feel the influence of the communist regime. 

      We will start the day tour of Bucharest by visiting the most distinctive building in the city, Palace of the Parliament, an iconic building from the communist era. Also known as the House of the People, the impressive structure entered the Guinness World Records as the second largest building in the world after the Pentagon. As we step through imposing marble rooms, we will unveil the somber details surrounding its construction. Continuing the tour, we head towards Bucharestโ€™s Old Town, which shelters several architectural gems and representative buildings. This is Bucharestโ€™s hotspot for nightlife, and its beautiful chaos will help you really feel the vibe of the city. After a day full of exploration, we will head to the hotel. Overnight in Bucharest. 

  • Day 2 Bucharest - Curtea De Argeศ™ โ€“ Sibiu

      Today, we embark on our journey to the picturesque region of Transylvania from Bucharest. Before reaching our destination, weโ€™ll make a stop at Curtea de Arges Monastery, an impressive religious landmark settled at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains.

      Afterward, we will take a road trip through the Olt Valley, and admire some of the stunning untouched landscapes of the region before reaching Cozia Monastery, a religious house that reflects the national medieval art and architecture. *In the summertime (Mid June to Early November), the trip to Cozia Monastery will be replaced with a road trip on 

      Our next destination is Sibiu,, a city that was named the European Capital of Culture in 2007, where we will take a walking tour of a city that blends history and multicultural elements. Highlights include the Main Square of Sibiu, where we will admire the Brukenthal Museum and the Roman Catholic Cathedral. We will then head towards Huet Square, and visit the Evangelical Church, followed by a stroll through the passage of stairs and a crossing of the famous Bridge of Lies. Overnight in Sibiu.

  • Day 3 Sibiu - Sibiel - Alba Iulia - Turda - Cluj-Napoca

      After breakfast we will head towards the rural charm of Sibiel, a tranquil Transylvanian village recognized as one of Europeโ€™s most authentic and well-preserved rural areas. Following a brief stroll through the village, our journey continues with a short trip to Alba Iulia. Here, weโ€™ll explore the largest fortress in Romania, surrounded by 12 kilometers of walls and designed in the shape of a star. The Alba Carolina Fortress was originally a Roman fort, a fortress during the Middle Ages and later a Vauban type citadel provided with bastions. 

      Our next destination is the Turda Salt Mine, a huge subterranean cave carved in salt, where we will take that photo that will amaze everyone! We will navigate through hundreds of meters of galleries that open into colossal halls, including one towering at 118 meters with a captivating lake at its base.

      Our journey continues to Cluj-Napoca, the largest city in Transylvania, proclaimed the city of arts. Overnight in Cluj-Napoca.

  • Day 4 Cluj Napoca - Breb - Barsana - Sighetu Marmatiei

      Today, we embark on a city tour of Cluj-Napoca, starting with the St Michaelโ€™s Gothic Cathedral, overlooking the central square. Our itinerary includes the Banffy Palace, the former mayorโ€™s hall, and the enchanting Mirror Street. 

      From Cluj, we will be heading to the northwestern part of Romania, Maramureศ™, a region resembling a fascinating open-air museum. Deprived of rights and privileges for centuries, the inhabitants of these places have managed to overcome hardship by following two simple rules: live your life to the full and cherish, above all, the richness of the soul. Maramureศ™ people are considered to be the most hospitable Romanians and their traditional wooden houses are a living part of their history. We will visit Breb, among the best-preserved traditional villages in Maramureศ™, where we delve into the localsโ€™ way of life through personal interactions and visits to authentic houses. For lunch, we will enjoy fresh products and delicious fruity liqueurs. 


      Heading not far from Sighet, our final destination of the day is Sฤƒpรฎnลฃa, home to the worldโ€™s only community with a merry cemetery. The wood carved crosses painted in bright colors display witty, humorous quatrains inspired by the lives of those who are no longer with us. The day concludes with a Romanian traditional dinner and a captivating folkloric show. Overnight in Sighetu Marmatiei. 

  • Day 5 Unesco Wooden Churches - Sighetu Marmatiei - Targu Mures

      Unesco Wooden Churches - Sighetu Marmatiei - Targu Mures

      Today, our journey takes us to two ancient wooden churches that are part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site: Poienile Izei (Iza Meadows) and Barsana, with the latter standing as one of the largest Orthodox architectural ensembles in Romania. Perfected across generations, the art of woodcarving remains the chief craft of the local community, as you will see in the workshop of a local artisan. After his presentation, youโ€™ll be able to buy unique hand-made souvenirs. 

      Today you will have the opportunity to taste the local products in one of the most picturesque and well-preserved regions of Romania. The locals still use their own harvest from their garden to make delicious dishes. In the evening we will reach Targu Mures, a city recognized for its ethnic and cultural diversity.   • Day 6 Targu Mures - Biertan - Sighisoara - Viscri - Brasov

      After breakfast, weโ€™ll head to Biertan, home to the largest fortified church in Transylvania. Constructed by the Saxons in the sixteenth century, this architectural gem is now recognized as a UNESCO monument. Walking up the winding cobblestone streets lined with historic buildings, we reach the Clock Tower, a symbol of the city, from where we can admire the breathtaking views. The Tower shelters a museum of medieval weapons and a torture chamber. 

      Our exploration continues with a climb up the three hundred wooden steps to the Church-on-the-Hill, dating back to the XIV century. Fascinated by life in the countryside and the peaceful atmosphere of this Transylvanian village, His Royal Highness, Prince Charles, restored one of the traditional houses, making it the place where he returns every year in May. Beyond marveling at the unique architecture of Viscri houses, weโ€™ll embark on a horse-drawn carriage ride through the village. This delightful journey allows us to immerse ourselves in the serene rural landscape, stopping to visit locals and savor some homemade cake. Our day concludes in Brasov, a city founded by the Teutonic Knights, located at the foothills of the Carpathian Mountains. Overnight in Brasov. 

  • Day 7 Brasov - Bran - Sinaia - Bucharest

      We will start the day with a walking tour of Brasov, exploring one of the narrowest streets globally, visiting the enchanting Council Square, and concluding with the admiration of the famed Black Church, a magnificent Gothic cathedral.

      Now itโ€™s time to visit the famous Bran Castle on a tour from Braศ™ov. Here, we will discover the legend of Dracula in a full Bran Castle tour. Known as Draculaโ€™s Castle, this medieval fortress, built in the 13th century, stands atop a 60-meter cliff, strategically overlooking the key access route into medieval Transylvania.

      Our next destination is the charming mountain resort of Sinaia, famous for its association with the royal family in the 20th century. Our first stop will be the Orthodox Monastery in Sinaia, continuing with the Peles Castle, the splendid Gothic style castle built by the first king of Romania, Carol the first of Hohenzollern. In the evening we will reach Bucharest. Overnight in Bucharest. 

  • Day 8 Bucharest โ€“ Departure

      Today will be a free day to explore the city by your selves buy some souvenirs for your friends and family back home. Transfer to the Airport will mark the end of this amazing experience through history, culture, local culinary and adventures in Romania.
