      A stroll through the Bavarian Three Rivers City is a very special experience. Stroll through the narrow streets of the old town, visit the cathedral with the largest church organ in the world or enjoy hearty home cooking in one of the brewery inns. Embarkation at 16:00; at 18:00 itโ€™s time to cast off! Relax as you glide towards the setting sun and enjoy the breathtaking view of the idyllic river landscape of the upper Danube valley from your seat on deck.

      The day is a real cycling pleasure! You cycle from Engelhartszell (Austriaโ€™s only Trappist monastery) through the wildly romantic Donauschlinge, one of the most beautiful stretches of river with dreamy farming villages. Along the way, cozy cider taverns tempt you with all kinds of delicacies. In the idyllic little boat town of Aschach you will board the boat again and "sail" into the night.

      In the morning, a short bike trip along the former Iron Curtain from the Devin fortress to the imposing Hof Palace with one of the most magnificent Baroque gardens in Europe. A well-maintained cycle path will then take you to the vibrant metropolis of Bratislava, or you can enjoy a relaxed cruise from the sun deck to the Slovak capital. Our slow train city tour (optional) begins with a magnificent view of the coronation city from the castle towering over the city and ends with a tour of the beautifully restored old town.

      From the baroque capital of fish soup, a tranquil place surrounded by the Gemenc floodplain forests, you cycle along the Danube embankment through sleepy river landscapes and along sunflower fields. At the end of todayโ€™s stage you will take the ferry to the town of Mohacs, Hungaryโ€™s southernmost Danube gate, famous for 2 memorable Turkish battles.

      By bike or by bus you will explore the lively Serbian metropolis at the confluence of the Sava and Danube rivers, take a journey through time from the past to the present and learn a lot about the rise and fall of Yugoslavia (optional). In the evening Belgrade is bathed in a sea of lights. Visit the famous artistsโ€™ quarter "Skadarlija", where countless taverns serve typical Belgrade specialties accompanied by spirited folk music.

Experience a grandiose natural spectacle up close from the deck. Steep gorges, dark forests and on the banks architectural monuments and defiant castles and monasteries reflected in the blue ribbon of the river: this natural wonder really gives you goose bumps!

      The impressive Petrovaradin Fortress towers high above the provincial capital of Vojvodina. Along the flat banks of the Danube you cycle upstream and reach by ferry the hilly landscape at the foothills of Fruska Gora, characterized by orchards, vineyards and dreamy farming villages. Ilok, the easternmost town in Croatia, is famous for its wines, which are even drunk by the English royal family. A strolling train will take you to the old wine cellar (1450), where you will taste through the most famous wines of the region. In some cases a tamburizza group will accompany us through the evening (optional).

      You are in the border triangle and cycling through the endless expanse of the Batschka (the territory of the Danube Swabians). Small, dreamy farming villages, bright yellow rape fields and endless agricultural fields line your way from Croatia via Serbia to Hungary. Farmers cheerfully wave from their fields, every now and then a horse-drawn cart crosses. The alternative route leads through the untouched nature of the Dunav-Drava-Nemzeti Nations Park. Numerous white storks nest on the roofs of the farmhouses, for which even a separate museum has been established. On your way to Mohacs, Hungary, you will pass the National Memorial commemorating the great battle of 1526.

      Kalocsa is the capital of paprika. Colorful houses with colorful floral patterns and the cathedral rising like a rock into the sky characterize the cityscape. In the Paprika Museum you will learn everything about Hungaryโ€™s favorite spice. You cycle on the well-built dam cycle path along the endless expanses of the Puszta and cornfields and orchards reaching to the horizon. On your way to Solt, the birthplace of the famous conductor Sir George Solti, white sandbanks along the Danube bank invite you again and again to jump into the cool water. A visit to a horse farm with a riding demonstration by the famous Csikos, a farm museum and traditional handicraft workshops is the crowning finale of an eventful day (optional).

The dome of the imposing Basilica of Esztergom, which towers high above the Danube, can be seen from afar. Hungaryโ€™s largest church is particularly worth seeing with its high altar in Tuscan style and the red marble walls.

      After eventful cycling days you deserve some relaxation. Enjoy a breathtaking view of the Danube Floodplains National Park from the sun deck and the impressive skyline as you sail into Vienna. Cycle to the Danube Island - Viennaโ€™s favorite recreation area, take a bike trip to the nearby Klosterneuburg Abbey or hike through the idyllic vineyards to the Kahlenberg (wonderful view of the Danube metropolis). The evening ends with a classical waltz and operetta concert in the splendid setting of a historic Viennese palace (optional).

      Discover Vienna: during a city tour from the bike saddle or individually with the HOP ON HOP OFF bus (optional). At a relaxed pace you cycle through the historic city center, the sights within reach. The magnificent Ringstrasse is a reminder of times long past, venerable coffee houses tempt you with Viennese pastries. There is plenty of time to stroll through the dreamy little streets or the Naschmarkt, a spectacle for the eyes, ears and nose. Why not round off your stay in Vienna in the evening in the traditional way with a visit to one of the rustic Heurigen.
