      Day 1: Transfer To Queen Elizabeth National Park

      Meet your safari guide and drive out of Kampala in the morning for the start of your Gorillas, chimps with golden monkey safari. Make a stop at the equator to get the experience of standing with one foot on either side of the southern- and northern hemisphere. Continue on to the town of Mbarara for lunch before the final part of the journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Have a relaxed evening enjoying the view from the lodge.  Overnight: Elephant Hub Lodge

  • Day 2 Day 2: Chimps Tracking In Kalinzu Forest And Boat Cruise On Kazinga Channel

      Day 2: Chimps Tracking In Kalinzu Forest And Boat Cruise On Kazinga Channel

      In the morning your guide takes you to Kalinzu forest for you chimps trekking experience. You have a walk in beautiful jungle and a meeting with the chimps ahead of you. When you get back from the trek your guide takes you to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon it is time for the boat-cruise on Kazinga channel. This two hour boat ride lets you look for hippos, crocodiles, elephants and birds by the shores.  Overnight: Elephant Hub Lodge

      Day 3: Tree Climbing Lions And Transfer To Bwindi Forest

      Set off for the Ishasha part of Queen Elizabeth national park after breakfast. Ishasha is known for tree-climbing lions and the game-drive here lets you look for them as well as see topis and buffaloes. After the game-drive you continue the journey to Bwindi Impenetrable national park, the home of the mountain gorillas. Overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge

      Day 4: Gorilla Tracking Experience

      Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Forest is the major highlight of the trip. Set off early with guides after breakfast with packed lunch and enough drinking water to track the gorillas. Each gorilla encounter is different and has its own rewards, watch adults chimps feeding, grooming and resting as the youngsters play and swing from vines in a pleasantly good-humored show. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest is a magnificent green swaddle of dense rainforest, so ancient that survived the last ice age. A recently proclaimed World Heritage site, it is one of the most biologically diverse areas on earth and its unique, precious flora sustains roughly half of the world population of mountain gorillas estimated at 600. There is also a substantial chimpanzee population and research shows that Bwindi is the only forest in Africa in which these two apes live together. Return to the lodge for resting and later go to the community for cultural dance with the Batwa known as the bush people. Dinner and overnight at Rushaga Gorilla Lodge.

      Day 5: Gorilla Tracking Experience And Transfer To Kisoro

      Your guide will take you to the starting point of the gorilla trekking in the morning for the second day gorilla tracking experience and you set of for your adventure. The trek takes you through the jungle up to the point where the gorillas are and you get to spent one hour with them. Return to lodge and refresh, start your journey to Kisoro. Overnight at Kisoro Travelers Rest Hotel.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking In Mgahinga National Park

      Day 6: Golden Monkey Tracking In Mgahinga National Park

      Wake up early in the morning, have breakfast and start your journey to Mgahinga national park for golden monkey trekking. This will involve hiking in search for golden monkeys in their natural habitat. The activity starts at 8:00AM with an orientation of what is to be expected, and then head out in search of the golden monkey trekking using the Gahinga trail. The trek may take long and you are required to carry parked lunch and enough drinking water. After the trek, transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation. Overnight at Birdnest Resort Bunyonyi.

  • Day 7 Day 7: Transfer To Kampala/Entebbe

      Day 7: Transfer To Kampala/Entebbe

      After breakfast you start the journey back to Kampala. Make a stopover along the way for lunch in Mbarara or Masaka depending on time. You have now reached the end of your Gorillas, Chimps with Golden Monkey safari and your guide drops you in Kampala/Entebbe airport
