Day 1: Drive to Altai Tavan Bogd
Pass By: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, China Border-Sagsai Rd, Olgiy 83120 Mongolia
Welcome to Bayan-Olgii province, the land of last nomadic eagle hunters and heart of the Altai Mountains. You will be welcomed on your arrival in Olgii, Today we will drive to the south entrance of Altai Tavan Bogd National Park. It takes about 5-6 hours to drive through the bumping mountain road. Enjoy the endless Altai mountains. Our team equipped with all the necessary camping equipment, so you are in good hands. Upon arrival at the entrance we will set up our tents in the camping site. A delicious meal from our chef cooks for dinner.

Day 2: Hike to the Base camp
Pass By: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, China Border-Sagsai Rd, Olgiy 83120 Mongolia
Today we will trek to the Base camp. This is one of the most popular and beautiful camping sites in Mongolia. All camping and cooking baggage will be transported by camels and local camel herder guys will support us. You need to take your day backpack. Also, we recommend you bring good hiking boots. Some part of the trail has mud and rock. On the halfway, we will have lunch via lunchboxes. Enjoy an open-air picnic. From the Basecamp you can enjoy the breathtaking view of the Altai Mountains that includes the Mongolian highest peak and one of the largest glaciers in central Asia. We will set our camp at the camping site. Enjoy your day!

Day 3: Climb to Malchin peak
Pass By: Altai Tavan Bogd National Park, China Border-Sagsai Rd, Olgiy 83120 Mongolia
The name of Altai Tavan Bogd literally means a โsaint five peaksโ. Which includes Mt.Khuiiten, Mt.Nairamdal, Mt.Burged, Mt.Olgii, Mt.Malchin. And Malchin is the lowest in these peaks. Also, the peak is famous for it is located right on the borderline between Mongolia and Russia, and you can climb to the summit without any special climbing equipment. The trail laid down on the edge of the mountain. Total climbing takes around 6-7 hours in total. Enjoy your climbing.

Day 4: Drive to Eagle hunter's family

Today we will hike back to the entrance. As usual, all the baggage will be transported by camels. Upon arrival at the entrance, we will switch to the car and drive further to the eagle hunterโs summer place. Our province is home for the last nomadic eagle hunter in the world. Over thousands of years nomads in central Asia keep their traditional hunting with golden eagles. Today you have an opportunity to explore more about their way of living and traditions. Please feel free to have a memorable picture with the family and with the eagle. Enjoy a traditional meal for dinner.

Day 5: Drive back to Olgii

Afternoon say โgoodbyeโ to the family and drive back to Olgii. You will be transferred to your hotel. For the evening we can walk a bit in the town, you can visit local souvenir stores. Our province is also famous for handicrafts with traditional ornaments. Farewell dinner at the local restaurant.
