      Passengers are welcome to board our ship at 6:00 p.m. After comfortably settling into your cabins, we'll introduce our crew at a welcome cocktail. Dinner on board followed by a thematic presentation: "A Definition of Impressionism, its Origins, the Technique, and the Contextโ€.

      Day 2: Paris, Discover The Impressionistsโ€™ Favorite Places

      This morning will be devoted to the guided audio tour of the Chateau of Auvers-sur-Oise. In the afternoon, you will get the chance to visit the Musรฉe Marmottan in Paris. This museum houses the largest collection of paintings by Claude Monet and provides an overview of how his work developed, from the first caricatures of his youth to the Water Lilies series, his mature works (the museum is closed on Mondays and its visit will be replaced by the Musรฉe de L'orangerie). After this visit, we'll return on board for a cruise through Paris "by night".

      Day 3: Paris - Giverny, In The Footsteps Of Claude Monet - Vernon

      This morning will be spent cruising. Second thematic presentation: "Claude Monet, the quintessence of Impressionismโ€. This afternoon, join us for a visit to Claude Monet's house in Giverny. The artist spent half his life here, dividing his time between working on his garden, a living painting if ever there was one, and the great passion of his final years, the Water Lilies series. You will be free to explore the house, which houses Monet's private collection of Japanese prints, and the garden, a haven of greenery. Enjoy a "Guingetteโ€ evening on board.

      Day 4: Rouen, In The Footsteps Of The Impressionists

      This morning will be spent cruising. In the afternoon, join us on a thematic guided tour of Rouen in the footsteps of the Impressionists (the Musรฉe des Beaux-Arts is closed on Tuesdays and public holidays, the visit will thus be replaced by the Eugรจne Boudin Museum in Honfleur, our stop on D6). Tonight is our gala dinner and evening.

  • Day 5 Day 5: Duclair - Honfleur

      Day 5: Duclair - Honfleur

      We'll spend this morning cruising on the most beautiful section of the Seine with its numerous meanders and sleepy villages which have inspired many a painter. Third thematic presentation: "The geography of Impressionism: Paris and the suburbs, Honfleur and the Norman coastโ€. We'll reach Duclair and set out for our excursion along the Norman Abbey Circuit. We'll depart for Honfleur in the evening.

  • Day 6 Day 6: Honfleur - Etretat - The Alabaster Coast

      Day 6: Honfleur - Etretat - The Alabaster Coast

      Join us for a tour on foot of Honfleur: the cradle of Impressionism where Boudin, Monet, Bazille, Jongkind would meet at the famous Saint Simรฉon farm and try to capture the changing light of the estuary. You'll be free to visit the Eugรจne Boudin Museum at your own pace (entrance fee not included). The afternoon will be devoted to the tour of the Cรดte d'Albรขtre, the natural heritage of the Pays de Caux and the Seine estuary with a visit to Etretat.

      Day 7: Honfleur

      Enjoy one last buffet breakfast on board before disembarking at 9:00 a.m. End of our services.
