Due to the large size of this museum and its huge number of works of art we suggest you take a guided tour that will allow you to see some of the most important works of its interior. Our selective tour will take you from the medieval Louvre, Egyptian Sphinx, Greco-Roman sculptures, including the famous Venus del Milo, summer apartments of Anne of Austria and Cardinal Mazarin, until you reach the Victory of Samothrace. We will also visit the part of western painting, the primitive Italians: Cimabue and Ghiotto, following by the Grande Galerรญa where at this moment we can see "The Virgin of the Rocks" by Leonardo da Vinci. Next, we will admire "The Wedding of Cana" by Verones and the most famous painting of the "La Gioconda" museum. Another part of the museum that we will have the opportunity to see with our guide is the Gallery of French Painting, where we can see "The raft of the jellyfish" by Gericault, "Liberty guiding the people" by Delacroix, "The coronation of Napoleon " from David. Next, we will go to the Apollo Gallery where we will find goldsmith objects and some of "the Crown Jewels", the Gallery of the Guards, where we will find Etruscan and Roman jewels. We will visit the famous Eton College, founded in 1440 for poor children and, today, one of the most exclusive and traditional in the country where the princes of England study. We will visit the castle from the outside. It has always been the residence of the English Crown and it is intimately connected with the history of this country.       Welcome to Paris! On arrival at the airport we shall be waiting to transfer you to the hotel. You can enjoy your free time until the tour starts, information about the meeting place and start time can be found on the information boards in the hotel reception area.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Transfer to Versailles Palace. Funicular ride included to Montmartre district. City tour in Paris. Early in the morning, we will leave for Versailles, the immense palace of the kings of France. After that, we will return to Paris at lunch time where we provide a transfer to the Montmartre disยญtrict. We will ascend by funicular to the hill and admire the spectacular view of Paris from the top. Thisneighborhood is known for its painters, artists, and its cabยญaretsโ€ฆ Sit down for lunch and enjoy a magical atmosphere. Then, a scenic guided tour to discover the history, main boulevards and thebreathtaking monuments of Paris will take place. Return to hotel. Optionally you can attend a variety show.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Eiffel Tower and boat cruise in the City of Lights. Rouen historic center. We go to the center of Paris, starting by the Eiffel Tower area. You will have the opportunity to climb up to the second floor of this remarkable metal monument (ticket included). Then, we enjoy a boat cruise along the River Seine, which divides the north of Paris from the south. Enjoy a free afternoon to explore as you choose. Note: Sometimes queues to climb the Eiffel Tower are long. For organizational reasons, if deemed appropriate, the climb can be made at a different moment of the day.At around 17.00hrs we will leave Paris for ROUEN a city museum with its houses with half-timbered walls, narrow streets and gothic churches.       TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS. Ferry crossing to United Kingยญdom. Stroll alongside Tower Bridge.Today we will take a stroll in the center of Rouen to admire its magnificent cathedral and the ancient streets of the historic center. After this we travel to the north of France. Travelling by ferry, we will cross the English Channel to reach CANTERBURY, the religious capital of England with a very attractive historic center. Continuing to LONDON, arriving with time to explore, visit Tower Bridge to see it lit up and admire the modern buildings. Time for dinner in one of the many restaurants offering a variety of cuisines. After dinner, return to the hotel.

See the Houses of Parliament, the River Thames, the Tower of Lonยญdon and Buckingham Palace, where we will be able to watch the famous โ€œChanging of the Guardโ€ (depending on the season). Afternoon at leisure. In the evening, we will take a walk through Leicester Square, China Town and Soho, with a lively atmosphere, theatres and entertainment. There are several restaurants to chose where you can dine. Return to the hotel.

Our first stop is CAMBRIDGE to admire its beautiful residential colleges. After lunch, we will continue to YORK where its cathedral, Roman walls and lively shopping streets will create a charming memory, some free time to stroll around. Afterwards, we will continue north to DURHAM. Explore this charming medieval town full of life which has a wonderful cathedral right in front of the castle.

Today we will travel to Scotland, stopping in ALNWICK, a picturesque town with lovely gardens and a large medieval castle which was used in the Harry Potter films. We will continue to EDINBURGH, arriving at noon. This is Scotlandโ€™s capital city and one of the most active cities in Northern Europe. Its monumental center has been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Its castle overlooks the cityโ€™s steep streets and parks. We will enjoy a sightseeing tour with a local guide.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHTS: Magnificent countryside of high mountains and lakes. Boat trip. Loch Ness. We continue to enjoy the stunning landscapes of the Scottish Highlands with a coffee and stroll in PITLOCHRY, a charming little village. We will continue and pass by INVERNESS in the north of Scotland, a city located very near the mysterious Loch Ness. After lunch we visit (entrance included) the URQUHART medieval castle, from here we will take a boat trip on the dark waters of the lake. Afterwards, we will pass through FORT AUGUST with its sluice gate system and FORT WILLIAM, the tourist center at the foot of Ben Nevis (the highest summit in the United Kingdom). We will return south through the high plateaus where it is possible to glimpse the snow before visiting Loch Lomond, one of the most popular lakes in Scotland. We arrive in GLASGOW at the end of the day. Short stroll around the city center and accommodation.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHT: Ferryboat to Ireland. Today we will leave Glasgow heading towards southern Scotland. We will board a ferry in Cairnryan. Our journey takes us towards Northern Ireland, arriving in BELFAST, Northern Irelandโ€™s capital city. This monumental city is overcoming its religious conflicts. We will resume our journey to EIRE in Ireland. Last stop will be DUBLIN, arriving at the end of the day.

      TODAYโ€™S HIGHLIGHT: Sightseeing tour of Dublin. We start the day with a sightseeing tour of DUBLIN, Irelandโ€™s peaceful capital city. We will enjoy a stroll on the banks of River Liffey, visiting its parks, old university and its lively downtown streets. We will stroll around Trinity College (depending on the duration of sunlight, this visit may take place the afternoon before, upon arrival in Dublin). Free time during the afternoon.

We will visit CAERNARFON, a World Heritage site by the sea overlooked by an impressive castle. There will be time for lunch and a stroll. We continue to LIVERPOOL, where we will take a short bus ride through the city, a World Heritage Site and the second port of the United Kingdom, and you will have a chance to visit The Beatles Story Exhibition.

Afterwards, we will travel to OXFORD, a town that is synonymous with study and culture. Kings, statesmen, philosophers and scientists have studied here! We will continue to LONDON, arriving in the late afternoon. End of our services. Please, check the time of your flight in case you might need an additional night.
